"You don't have a racing license? No problem. Not only do we recognize the majority of the nation's racing schools, CCS and its affiliates offer Licensing Clinics at many of our events. Please feel free to contact us or the instructors listed on our Roadrace Links page for more information." http://www.ccsracing.com/about.html |

The RR throttle bodies will NOT fit a standard xb. Nor will the heads retrofit. The bolt pattern is wider than the standard xb model. This was discussed before, an Annony shot the idea down in flames. |

I have been wondering what kind of cylinders are on the XBRR? Are they similar to the MT/Axtell all aluminum w/nicasil coating or are the like the stockers with lining? Who makes them? jimidan |

I may be wrong, but my bet would be on everything being available. It just seems "right". I am confident that the Buell XBRR is poised to make some serious inroads on the race circuit. It would be "Erik like" to bring to the market an excellent bike, sold through a dealer network that the "common racer" can acquire and have ease of access to replacement and support parts. It's this ease of access that will be one of the defining characteristics of Buell racing. Don't think the first units (I'm told one or two of the bikes are already spoken for) won't fall into competitors hands. While most high end race builders were doing the "limited exclusive" thing it'd be like Erik to say "everyone who wants to race and have a good time....come on over here". It could happen. Court |

I hear you... I just thought that the parts couldn't be sold to people w/o a race license due to the fact that "most" of the parts should/could say "for race use only" and stuff... I hope I'm wrong, but I'll have a license by February in any case... |

I can buy a 158 Gr. .357 round in Wal-Mart without a hunting license. |

As I said... I hope I'm wrong. I just seem to remember an anony post a while back stating that a race license would be needed to buy the race parts (not the parts that make it to "production"). I guess I'm talking about the stuff that we won't see on the '07 "R". Like magnesium primary covers and full CF "RR" body work. Again though... I hope I'm wrong . I'll smile if that's the case, trust me . |

Jimi, The XBRR's cylinders are of the nicasil plated variety. MT does the plating. Not sure who builds the cylinders, most likely Harley-Davidson. |
