I can't wait to see one on the track. It would indeed be sweet to see a Buell finish on the AMA FX podium. Maybe at Road America, with the Buell Homecoming that weekend, we'll all get to celebrate a podium finish. |

Awesome. Too bad they didn't get in the the last AMA race, I bet they would have done well on the tight twisty CA Speedway. |

I could care less about the production beginning. Why do I say that? Because I want them to finish so they will start selling the parts from the XBRR. I am looking at getting the damper, forks, rear shock, and maybe the engine case. Hurry up Buell! Dave cant sell me anything yet till you get them done. |

I would be very interested in the brake, but I'd like to try one first. Anyone getting an XBRR who'll let me do some quick stops on it? |

I think you'll need a race license for most of the RR parts... The ones that don't make it to production as such anyway... |

Hmmmmm... Wonder if Anthony (Mutation_Racer) will let me take a spin on his once he gets it? hehehehehehehe... Damn, this is gonna turn out to be a pretty good year after all.. For racing Buells that is.. Oh yeah, any one else wonder what those lucky RR recipients are gonna do with their current race machines? |

>>>>I think you'll need a race license for most of the RR parts I think not. The service and parts manuals have been ready for a bit and I expect parts to follow in the not to distant future. Call it a hunch. |

If there was he couldn't and wouldn't say. In fact I doubt he would have said anything if there was something to be inferred beyond the xbrr service and parts manuals being finished at the printers. Court has proven good at offering teases without giving away what's going on behind the scenes. I'd rather he stayed on the "inside" where he can do the most good on our behalf than be found suspect because of fear of leaks about new production either in parts or bikes. |

No, I'm saying nothing beyond what is pretty well known....the purpose of the XBRR is to be a race bike that is accessible to privateers. To that end, and in a hyper-cool move, parts can be ordered through your local Buell dealer. I think the concept is one of inclusion rather than exclusion. I, for one, am eager to get and begin studying the manuals. I suspect this bike had not yet begun to get the respect it deserves. Court |

I spoke to the factory a short while ago about getting some XBRR bodywork, and was told that no parts would be available until all the XBRR orders had been fulfilled, so there may be a while to wait before components are available to buy. |

XBRR parts will be available to non-XBRR owners, but there will be some lag on some to allow RR production, and some parts may be reserved for owners initially to allow an adequate spares flow. The 8-piston caliper will be routinely available sometime this summer. |

Hi Anony, Any idea when we would be able to order a seat/tail unit at all? We have a round of the Thunderbike championship at Snetterton on June 11/12 and it is a high speed circuit. We could do with all the aerodynamic help we can get |

>>>.XBRR parts will be available to non-XBRR owners Kinda the entire basis of "Erik Buell's Privateer Support" mindset. Availability is pivotal. |

Well kick ass . I was under the impression that one would need to have a race license to get the parts from the RR that were not part of the "R" model... Maybe that's still true then... I'm happy to wait patiently myself. In any case, thanks for the info Court ... and thanks for the clarification Anony . |

what exactly is a race licence. I mean who issues it? Is it the govt or some race organization? |
