I am gonna try and swap the headlights out for an older single style. I have seen it done on here before but I cant find some pics of it. Who has done this and can you send me some detailed pics and potential problems that I may run into (like different fork diameters that may make the clamps unusable). BTW, if I can make this work, my lights will be up for sale. Also, does anyone care to extend me a little trust and let me borrow a spare set up to make this work for now. I cant just take it apart and let it sit until I make it work because it is my transportation. I'll make you a great deal on my factory stuff. Please, detailed pics, I haven't tried anything like this before. |

Rafartist, were you thinking of Jessea's bike? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=32777&post=623078#POS T623078 |

Yes, that is what I have in mind, but I want to black out the bucket and put an HID system in the assembly. |

Be sure to take pics of your changes in stages and post them to help the next guy. |

Wyckedflesh did this conversion to his XB12S. I believe it's an X1 light and flyscreen. You may want to give him a pm.

Yeah, thats it. I dont want to run a flyscreen though. I am gonna run an HID setup in the bulb. Just raw wires and remove the guages and use one of those LED bar graph units from a race car or bike to supply the rpm and speed so it looks just like a set of handlebars as a mess of wires like some hack threw it together. I am also considering stackin a set of those rectangle PIAA's, I just dont care for the bug eyes. |

How involved is this light conversion. I would do that tomorrow if it were a kit. Nice! |

this is my bike, actually now it's better since I've placed the instrument panel back in place using an aluminium plate. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/185932.html?1143838940 |

Yeah, I'm curious about that exhaust too. The lights are hot, but I'm wondering what that exhaust looks like from the back. |

Something doesn't look centered on the Pic above from the rear, or is it just me. And what is the white shock, is that a race application only, or aftermarket? |
