Ok, so my experience with Gettysburg wasn't really great at first. Marty was a cool guy and fun to deal with, but I can't say that about another particular person who sold me the bike. Then, service is so backed up that I can't get the bike in so that I could wait for it. Today, I dropped the bike off and talked to one of the techs. He seemed very familiar with the Buells, so I asked him some questions. Told him about the power dip in my power band that never smoothed out from the muffler. He said he would take it out for a ride and then he will try to get it on the dyno to see how it is running. He said that he wouldn't charge me if he does it, and said "If I get curious enough, which happens alot, I'll just do it and let you know how it goes". This will also help to determine further mods for mapping etc, so he is def saving me some money. it's nice to have someone in service like that. |

Wow, now that's a good start there. Now, if he follows through with it then I'll be really impressed. |

Well, he only said he would do it if he needs more info on what the engine is doing. I am not holding my breath, but it sounds like he has an interest in Buells and is willing to check it free of charge and determine what is the best route to fix the power dip. |

Shea, do you have any mods? |

Yes, the Econo drummer. All I wanted is some sound and to run solid. I put about 500 miles on the bike so far and the ECM doesn't seem to want to adjust any further. It has become dramatically smoother, but the power dip isn't totally gone. |

I have talked to them down there a few times on the phone, they seem pretty cool. |
