My Buell sucks air! And fuel! And combines it into a cacophonous symphony. Unknown amounts of oil and sweat seem to disappear without reason. The engine shakes, dances, & wags my ass and fails to knock the smile off my face. My "tank" is half full... |

I stopped at the Sunoco station up the street on my way home from work. My tank is full! Tomorrow morning, I'm going to ride out the Mohawk Trail into New York. I'll take Rt.22 south to Lebanon and get a GREAT burger for lunch at the Hitchin' Post Cafe. Then I'll come back into Massachusetts through the Berkshires and ride some fun twisted back roads home. My wife will be with me on her Moto Guzzi. Life is Very Good! |

Using that description, my Buell doesn't suck at all right now, because it's at home up on stands while the wheels are at the dealer getting new tires mounted. Worse yet, it is a gorgeous 73 degrees and sunny day. Fortunately, my Miata sucks, and thanks to a garrett T28, it sucks a lot!

Crusty - How can you ride in those conditions? You may get a permenant smile on your face and look funny in some situations. Tell me about the part of riding thru the twisties in the Berkshires again! |

Jajarm, you left one stroke out of the cycle. the four strokes of a four stroke cycle are: Suck, Squeeze, Bang and Blow. And speaking of blowing, it's time for me to blow out of here and ride toward New York State. Have a Nice Day! |

I used to think that, but not with gas prices over $3/gal. Also, it's kinda nice not to need a rebuild every 65k miles. That miata currently has 85k on it, the last ~40k were under boost. Best of all, used replacement motors are easy to find and relatively cheap. |

Great posts everyone! I have perma-grin knowing I get to ride my 05 bolt. . . Or my face froze that way during early season riding here in Wisconsin. Any day can be a perfect day for riding a Buell. |

are you guys patronizing me? it's bad enough that every time I go out riding everyone stops and stares at me. saying things behind my back and sometimes to my face! and hand gestures to boot. what's a "thumbs-up" mean anyway? |

Doesn't the thumbs up mean "up yours"? |

I rode with a bunch of guys this afternoon and my Buell doesn't suck that much. We filled up before we start and when we stop again for gaz, I put a big $10 in my little XB. A guy with a CBRXX put $16 for the same ride. So my Buell suck but it suck a lot less than a CBRXX! |
