Has anyone heard any good news/rumors about the upcoming 2007 line-up? 2006 was a slam dunk with the Ulysses and Lightning Long!! I wonder what'07 has in store for us?? |

I've been wondering the same thing... When should we expect to see public info on the '07 models? It's still early in the season though... Court? DO tell, please. |

With the "unvailing" of the Ss and the other changes they made for 06' I doubt the Lightning will have anything else done to it. I don't think it needs to either. I got my 06' Ss and I love it. If anything I bet the Firebolt will get a long model or they'll do something to that. Maybe the blast too? |

After seeing whats going on on the board here, and how popular the CityX is, I'd be surprised if Buell DOESNT capitalise on that popularity ( combined with current trends), and produce an XB9s Supermotard. Uly suspension under a cityx, flatter profile muffler, rework the flyscreen & put a Firebolt tail on stock to make it a specific body, and its pretty much a done deal.. a slightly lower / lighter '9' based Uly would seem to be the other popular request - same basic scenario as the supermoto anyway, just a difference in styling cues, and marketing c. |

I have some wheels turning in my head, and I have thought that they will bring out a 'Bolt long, maybe another, smaller Uly. SOrry, that's all I've got. |

Care to drop us a hint by chance... Yeah, that's smart, turn Court into a Double Agent, then when he is found out, he will be shipped to BFE assigned to potato peeling duty. |

Im hoping some XBRR stuff will translate out into to new bikes. I would like just a few more horses, or few dozen would be even better. And it would be really cool if they incorporated a full fairing, ram air setup for the street. I would still keep my 04 'Bolt, But it would be nice to have another toy with more power. Somewhere around the 120 mark and I would be real happy. |

Well...this pretty much starts the 20th something year we've been through this. My advise, if you just bought a Buell and are "worried" about what's "just around the corner". . . . well, just like a great sportbike road . . . there's always something great coming up and it takes nothing away from where you are. If you just snagged an '06 Buell, ride it an enjoy it. I have no idea (A couple of us work harder than you can imagine NOT to know) regarding the specifics of what's coming. What I do know and can share is that the folks I know at Buell continue to show tons of excitement and enthusiasm about their work...to me, that sends all the message I need. Buell has added some folks to oversee platforms (Steve Anderson was tagged for the XBRR platform....try to do better than that!) and my bet is that the home of innovation hasn't submitted a change of address card yet. If your at this year's "Pink Hat Festival" remind me to tell you some funny stories about how folks at Buell have tried to FORCE me to know specifics. . . . fun stuff these Buell motorbikes. Court |

I think Court let something drop there.. f your at this year's "Pink Hat Festival" Seems that could open alot of doors to the fair sex being targeted. |

While there are more women riding than ever before, do they really make up more than a few percentage points of all riders? Seems to me, if you want to sell more Buells then making comfortable room for the ladies is the way to go. I see way more women riding on the back of Harleys than steering one. Furthermore, women influence what their husbands do and don't purchase and I'm bettin room for them is one of the considerations. With all that said, the R and S models aren't designed with passengers in mind. Besides, the Ulysees already fills that niche. |

I think the first question that needs to be asked is: Will there be a new model this year, or simply improvements to the current lineup? Of course, I'm sure no one that is "in the know" will answer this question. So, it's last year all over again. That's ok with me though, it was fun when Erik turned July into Christmas! Or should that be Buellmas? Does anyone know when the new stuff will be unveiled? Will it be July again? |

What Court is basically saying is he won't tell us and to wait for July. I'm hoping I will be out of Basic in time for the unvailing of the 07 model. |

What Court is saying is that he makes it a specific point NOT to know, and probably plugs his ears and yells at the top of his lungs when BMC people try to tell him. So as much as Court could know, he actually doesn't know as much as you think. It spoils the fun when you hear Santa telling you what he's building...} |

I can't understand what the rush is to know what next years models will be. I remember not too long ago when you couldn't buy a new year model car until late November or early December, but I see "2007" model year Dodges and Toyotas on the road already in April 2006. That means they had to be built in 2005. This whole model year thing is getting out of hand. |

Anticipation. I'm currently working on 2008-2010 related products, non-Buell, non-Harley. There is a long leadtime. |

Anybody know the date that the info goes public? It's usually the middle of July, but it would be cool to know the exact date. Everything between now and then is speculation. |

I think they need to put the RR engine in everything, detuned somewhat, of course. The XB9 could have a really short stroke version with a 9 grand redline, and the 1340 would replace the 1200. It's really the only hope of staying with the other twins out there. Even BMW has gone for a big power increase this year. Then again, '07 is probably a bit early for that to be possible. I'm guessing a revised Firebolt this year and hoping for new engines in '08. (Message edited by xlcr on May 02, 2006) |

oooohh a pink Buell hat... huh i might have to buy that.. Well think about anyway,I am girl but I don't really like pink, and my dealer dosen't really carry any Buell stuff. I am hoping that they come out with lower seats on more models , but yet not rock hard. I have a 2005 XB12Scg right now, love it but the seat is hurting my butt on longer day trips. |

A UK magazine carried a Buell advert/editorial that stated the 2007 Ulysses will have increased steering lock, I am under the impression that the tyres will either be changed to scorpion sync’s or they will be offered as an option. |
