That looks sick. I'd love to know how hard it was to line up the chain, as well as how it handles. I must say...looks mean. |

someone spent a lot of time and money converting an sv650 to a single side swingarm, USD forks and XBS lights, screen. Nice job of it at that. |

that would be tire width in mm. I was asking about the rim. And is it still a 17inch? or is it now an 18 because the wider tires available? for instance: Your stock rear tire is a 180mm but the rim is 5.5 inches wide. (Message edited by diablobrian on April 24, 2006) |

Ron, Can you hook us up with a total price and some insight on what you had to do? I've been interested in this.. just recently found a place in england that sells it but its like 3k for the rim and swingarm notched.. and thats kinda rediculous |

rear wheel is 8.5x18 now the kits that are out have a offset wheel and notched swingarm, and footpeg hanger spacers, and use the belt with offset pulleys my setup is a centered wheel and no swingarm notch and no footpeg hanger spacers, but must use chain for clearance what it cost me??, i would have to figure it out, there were alot of one of a kind custom parts the wheel was custom made to my specs the rear sprocket is vortex, chain is rk, rear sprocket adaptor was machined to my specs the front sprocket was a pbi 530 chain offset sprocket machined down to my specs and to fit a 520 chain the chain tensioner started as a freespirits that was taken apart and we machined 4 new pieces to my specs for the offset then reassmbled if someone was sirius about building one i probably could help you come up with everything you need coyote, my r looks good on your s |

I love it but I tried to add everything up and with shipping costs from another country to the US it'd be upwards of $5,000 plus after powdercoating and all parts and whatnot. I can do most everything else I wanna do on the bike for that price. =0P But it looks sick man! Do you know if a 200 rear will fit on the stock rear swingarm and wheel with belt intact w/out any mods? |

Whew...that tire is HUGE! Personally I have gone with a 170 as I prefer a more rounded tire for better turn in. But I like the overall look of the bike...asthetically it flows nicely. |

Ron, Dam fine job... That looks sweet! How much has the handling changed with that wider rear tire? Also, did you have to move the main sprocket outward to compensate for the wider rear? Great looking bike man. And that SV is SHWEEEET. That single swingarm really looks good. |

the main(front)drive chain sprocket is a 530 offset sprocket machined down, so yes it moved the chain outward handling, so far so good, but i havent taken it up to the twisties yet, just been riding around town i can feel a diffrence, but no big deal, you feel a diffrence just changing brands of the same size i will let you know this weekend when i go to the laughlin river run, i have to drive thru a canyon |
