Anyone know of some decent luggage to attach to an X1? I'm tired of wearing a backpack to carry a few items. But I don't want one of those "tailpack systems" as I don't need to haul that much. Don't need to look like "The Beverly Hillbillies" going down the highway. Just enough to carry a few books and maybe take my lunch to work. I have a tail pack, but it always wants to slide back and cover the tail light (not good) and the bungee system to hold it on looks awful. |

![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/192171.jpg) I used some threaded rod from HomeDepot as side support to keep off of tire. Simple cheap and looks great. |

I have the buell Amigo tank bag and it would probably suit your needs. I have been thinking about the Icon Urban tank bag- Iknow it is magnetic mounted but the mounting system for the buell is easy to mimic.

I use a Marsee quick release tank bag and a Mr. Pockets tail bag on my X1. Marsee products are a little spendy but the quality and fit are excellent. Both stay in place even when getting frisky through the corners. |

Buell actually made a set of soft bags for the X1 - might want to see if a dealer still has a set hanging around. |
