In your last reply to my question as to what dollar amount is half of retail - shipping. Your response; "Well You can ask Dave whatever retail is half of that plus shipping.." Do we know each other? No. Do i know a Dave? No. Are you selling A crank out of a XB9? Probably not. Are you having fun at my expense. Probably. If you’re selling a XB9 crank, state your price. If your a kid playing on the board. Leave and find a new play ground. Better yet don’t bother me with a response; I'm not interested in buying anything from you. |

****************************************** Is there a serious seller out there with a Crankshaft assembly in good condition, willing to state a price less the cost of shipping? If you know the cost of shipping to Kenosha Wisconsin, Zip Code: 53142? Please include the shipping cost separately. ******************************************* |

Thank you everyone for your offers, I received an e-mail form a board member that is in SE Wisconsin. He has what I need and I will be able to pick it up tonight. I'm amazed at the response and will look for parts here before anywhere else. Sorry for any prior misunderstandings. |

I'd say you just blew a chance at a 1/2 price crank! |

I'm sorry if your upset, but I have to take a chance on a used crank that is in my proverbial back yard, for far less $ than what has yet been offered. Yes its used and yes it may be "broke". But if it is, I will return to my search for short stroke crank for my big bore engine. |

Hey Dana, You might remember I was taking the X1 up to 88"s, but then I got greedy and over bored the Axtell cylinders to 3.75" & that put me at 90"s. This spring I shit my self and the only way other than sleeving the jugs back to 3 13/16", is to de-stroke the engine. The 900 crank puts me back to 74"s, and It short stroke should allow me to wind it up quicker than I could originally back before I started all this power hungry, build it bigger, kid stuff. I had the 240mm tire on the Sporty, it looked stupid so I pulled it off and I’m thinking a 180mm-210mm should get all the power to the pavement with out it looking like a fat ass hippo. I wet to the first annual motorcycle awareness ride down in Mundelein today. It was sponsored by ABATE. After the ride the group headed out to Woodstock for the annual swap meet. I found an S&S dual throat carb complete with manifold for an old iron head. I’ll fit the air cleaner to the S&S fulie system on the Sportster with a new back plate (know a good machinist in the neighborhood?). Are you sponsoring a Build off this year? E-mail me, we’ll talk.. |
