I did a search on this topic and did not quite find what I was looking for. I have a black XBR that I keep in my garage when not riding. If I take the airbox decals off will there be a shadow of where the letters were, or does the area scrub clean? Thanks Jak |

Clean off any sticky residue, then buff and wax. |

It depends a lot on the condition of the surface around the letters. If you use a tank bag or if your bike is stored in the sun a lot you may have some polishing to do to even out the finish. Polishing the sulyn is covered in the K.V. in great depth. |

Depending on how much sun exposure the airbox has had, you may also see a little 'ghosting' where the plastic is darker where the letters used to be. I've got it on mine, but you have to be really up close and at the right angle to see it. |
