I had just put on frame pucks and some skateboard wheel sliders to prepare for an upcoming track school and unfortunately I got to try them out all too soon. I locked up the front trying to avoid rear ending a car that had slammed on its brakes...The worst part is I could have stopped had I not been following too close and not been looking at the scenery. Had all my gear on so I wasn't hurt and everything that broke was easily replaceable. It just reminded me that you've got to be alert all the f*&%'n time!...got lucky again!

Good to hear you weren't. I locked my front wheel on some wet pavement and went over. Thank god for the pucks they saved me alot of money, broke the damn footpeg though they seem cheap.

Saw A Blue 9R in North Carolina that looked as if someone did the same thing. Glad you are ok.

I think those foot pegs are designed to break away, but I have no proof of that.

Just ordered the sliders front and rear, and the LSL S type pegs plus some grips. Hope to have them wednesday. The bike goes in on wednesday for rubber and 2500 service. When I get it out I will install new parts. Gonna try the Scorpion Syncs like they had on the city x I test rode.

Also going to try the factory adjustments for the shocks. Race settings on the shocks ate my tires bad, not that I was cornering too hard.
