How did the rear end of the trailer end up clear in the ditch on the wrong side of the road? Was the trucker cutting the corner? |

Q: How did the rear end of the trailer end up clear in the ditch on the wrong side of the road? Was the trucker cutting the corner? I can answer that, easily, from the perspective of a motorcyclist. A: IT DOESN'T MATTER. Court |

Court, I dont have a fork brace now but ones in the future. Tim Bernard of Happy Trails makes an awesome one for the KLR. He made me a really sharp engine protector ala grash bars with kick down footrests thats built right. Just when you think your ready for some new goodies you break a front tooth. Good thing some call me Hillbilly. I kinda like the look. Take, Care, Ed |

Just a reminder that the rooms blocked for this event were released at Fontana Village on June 20th and the others release on July 1st so if you haven't made your reservation NOW is the time... I've heard of a concern from some that "Bragin' at the Dragon" will just be a race weekend on public roads with a commensurate high risk factor...Only if you let it...There are so many other good roads that if you choose to avoid the action on the "Dragon" you'll still have a great experience...There are those that trailer/truck their bike with the idea that if they throw it down the road they'll still get home...When I'm 530 miles from the barn and my only way back is the Buell I'm riding I think about that as you pass me and that little voice inside says NOT... See Ya This Fall! Bob |

HAS ANYONE ELSE READ THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!! The official press release follows: Harley-Davidson announced today the Company has chosen to end its factory VR1000 Superbike racing program and retire from the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Superbike series after the final round of the 2001 season at Virginia International Raceway on September 28-30... "Our development team took a hard look at rebuilding the program this year, and what it would take to bring the VR 1000 to a competitive level and replace it with a new design. Harley-Davidson has determined the resources required to do that are simply too costly to pursue given our other business priorities," said Baker. Well, Maybe they will finally do the right thing and Create a Buell motorcycle to race in its place!!!!! Quite honestly, I think Eric Buell should demand it!!! Picotte is still under contract for another 2 years with HD. Can you imagine the possibilities with Pascal on an Eric Buell creation??????? Just found this on motorcycle online. please sign this and let HD know how all the Buelligans really feel!!! http://www.petitiononline.com/hdb/petition.html All people who want to see an American AMA Superbike win, sign this! thanks |

If anyone out there is interested, I have a two bedroom cabin at Fontana Village for the 21st and 22nd. The lady there told me one room had double beds and the other had bunk beds. So if any of you last minute planners looking for somewhere to stay I'll have some extra room if you want to share. Pat Mullaney |

There was another motorcycle fatality on the Cherohala Skyway this past weekend...A GSXR 750 apparently impacted the armco at speed killing Michael Dicenzo from Ontario...I don't want to preach so I'll let you draw your own conclusions as to how aggressively you choose to ride at the rally... See Ya! Bob |
