According to the tag on my Buell freebee folding hat, the Buell sling bag give away starts Sat. the 15th. Hmmm....test drive a new Buell and get a nice bag. Is that all there is to it ? | ||

If there is only one give away sling bag it is actually a very well thought out design. And it is well made, accommodating, and the over the head, one shoulder drape design has to be a moment of designing genius for use by motorcyclists. Now, about them folding hats, anyone got one for sale in about a 7-1/4 or so?? I got my sling bag on eBay last year. I paid an embarrassing price for it because I was a brand new Bueller and ignorant of the source. Great over the shoulder bag. Well made, tons of space, even a cell phone holder. I got mine after getting my free Harley blanket last week. A salesman saw me struggling with the blanket on my bike, ran in and GAVE me the bag! Kudos out to Ft. Myers Harley.  | ||

Ahhh, same one as last year. *VERY* nice bag IMHO. Use it all the time on the CityX. I've got like 6 of 'em now. It was nice having several Buell dealers close by | ||

It's a little different than last year's. For one the cell pocket isn't velcro, it's got a real clasp, and the MP3 player is in the bottom of the shoulder strap. We got ours at March Badness, along with everyone else there. It's better made this year. I now have all three sling bags, they keep getting better every year. A most excellent freebie! | ||

If anything the bags should be sent to anyone who wants one free. I was the only buell out of 800+ bikes to show up to bike night in Old Town Orlando last night. I wore my buell racing t-shit and fold cap. (thanks to court for the shirt. I never wear clothing with logos because I don't feel i should advertise unless i'm being sponsored. But I proudly wear my buell stuff. So basicly I was the only buell rep. in a sea of jap. and HD bikes so I should get the stuff free as I continue to support Buell. I'm getting the word out and buell is probably getting sales because of it. | ||

Dealerships pay for the bags, then get reimbursed from BMC when they submit paperwork about the test rider. I think it's fair enough to have to take a demo ride to get it. It's not like you actually have to pay for it. | ||

I have bought the Vanson Buell jacket though, the boots and the puck gloves, but I needed them, maybe not the logo stuff, but with Buell, I don't mind at all. You're paying money to advertise them for free and companies love this. Harley-Davidson counts on it! | ||

If you want one for FREE! You have to get it. Yeah, they're not going to mail you one. But, if you're in an area that doesn't have the promo, or otherwise can't get one. The BadWeB is a great, Buellers helping Buellers all the time in many ways. I think Daves sent Newfie a hat (not the folding one) because the free hat was a U.S. only promo. Actually, Clown did send some sling bags out last year to BadWeBr's who didn't have a participating dealership nearby. Of course this was after he made sure anybody who actually came in got one. There's a lot more interest in Buell this year, so they might not be as easy to get unless you actually get in to the dealship. But either way, it's still free. | ||

Damn, I would love a sling bag, but of course my local dealers don't like to do demo's (unless you pretty much promise to buy)Hence why I didn't buy from them.. But even so the dealers here don't have hardly anything in stock other than maybe buell hats. I took a chance and took the printout in for the folding hat to them.. OF COURSE,, they didn't have any of the folding hats,, But they gave me a regular Buell hat...  Free is a very good price and it's still a good hat.. ehh But damn, I could use a sling bag. | ||

Free is good but my slig bag starting falling apart after about one month of use. So don't load the bag up with alot of stuff. I randomly carry at least 10 to 25 pounds in my back packs daily. I still get mine but I give them away to family. | ||

Boy I'd really like to be able to get in on all of the "FREE" Buell stuff. Being an American stationed in Europe makes it hard though; they don't do the promo's overhere  When I picked up my Uly a couple of weeks ago the dealership where I picked it up at was SELLING the free folding hats that you guys got in the US. Any of dealers/sales guys willing to hook up a military guy with one of those kickazzed sling bags?  | ||
