Ti is brittle... I wouldn't trade dollars AND handling for HP. That's just me though. |

Ti is brittle? Dude. We build military aircraft out of the stuff, including the armored bathtub that surrounds the A-10 cockpit. Ti-6Al-4V is some seriously tenaciously tough stuff. Ask any machinist whose had to deal with it. |

They have been using Patrick Racing's motors as far as I can tell. I saw one of the prototypes at Laughlin a couple years ago (the gold colored bike) and it was pretty spiffy. The bike was displayed at Nigel Patrick's booth at the Riverside 'vendor area'. Their website should give you all the info as far as motors and such. AL |

Al, The Playboy I got in the mail today cofirms the Ecosse uses a Patrick Racing motor. Take the source FWIW...But it did have the Uly in it: 1313 |
