Here's my route from yesterday. I would like to schedule the ride again if anyone's interested. It would be about 240 miles round trip from Baldwin. How does April 22nd, or 23rd sound? That's either Saturday or Sunday. It sounded like from the last ride, some people have conflicts on Saturday and Sunday would be better. So if you want to go, let's hear which day is better for you.

I still think they handle noticeably better on pavement than the Dunlops ever did. I took them out on a 100-miler with half and half dirt/paved roads late yesterday afternoon and feel like they offer no more or less off-pavement performance. I have only had them out in the rain once, but it was enough to notice a stickiness that was definitely not present with the D616s. Overall, I am very happy with these tires so far. If they last longer than 5k, I'll buy them again. |

I see how it is leave the "new guy" out! Just kidding in the future my number is 816.721.5935. (Probably all the better I felt your pain that morning James and probably would have puked in my helmet, I had a late night of bowling with the wife's friends.) I'd love to ride this weekend but I'm going to head up to Omaha and then to Lincoln for the Spring Game (GO HUSKERS the one game they can't loose ) The good news is I will get to test out my new Cortech bags. Loren I think I saw a picture of your bike with these, any installation tips? And I know that you are all very worried about my safety so I went and bought a pair of those boots from Gail's and my new gloves arrive this week. Should be a wonderful weekend enjoy the weather! Crap on big Red! Just had to say it. I so enjoyed the three times that we played and beat Nebraska in the 5 years I was at K-State! Especially the games in 1998 and 2000 that knocked them out of the National Title race. Suckers! |

FYI KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- This week, Missouri Highway Patrol troopers are on the lookout for aggressive drivers. KMBC's Robb Yagmin reported that it is a week-long campaign. What are some things troopers will be watching? "On the shoulder, following too close and all types of things," Sgt. John Hotz said. Yagmin reported that the troopers are being aided by another trooper in a plane, who spots drivers in violation of the law. "That's the correct guy. He was way on the shoulder," said one driver who had been pulled over. "You can't be passing on the shoulder and cut in on cars like that," a trooper said. The Highway Patrol and 23 other law enforcement agencies will be out all week around the metro. Aggressive Driving Campaign Schedule: Tuesday: Missouri Highway 150 at U.S. Highway 71 Interstate 29 at Interstate 35 Interstate 470 at Woods Chapel Missouri Highway 152 at Interstate 35 Interstate 70 in Jackson County Interstate 435 Wednesday Interstate 470 at Raytown Road Interstate 435 at the Missouri River U.S. Highway 71 at Gregory Missouri Highway 291 north of the Missouri River U.S. Highway 40 at Phelps Road Missouri Highway 291 at North Stark Thursday: Missouri 291 south of U.S. Highway 50 Interstate 29 at Interstate 35 Missouri Highway 291 at Missouri Highway 78 Missouri Highway 45 at Interstate 29 U.S. Highway 40 at Moore Road Missouri Highway 152 at Church Road Friday: Interstate 470 Interstate 70 |

So I need to put some new brake rotors and pads on my car really badly. What do you guys think of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8054931037&ss PageName=STRK:MEWA:IT I've looked at Brembo and a couple other brands, but I'd be paying at least $450 for everything when I can get these with pads for about $230 after shipping. I emailed the seller for some info, but I was thinking you guys might be able to shed some light. I thought about maybe getting slotted rotors with dimples instead of holes because I've here the drilled rotors have a tendancy to crack. Either way, I don't want the stockers because they've only lasted 55K and they've already been honed once at 30K. Plus the cross drilled and slotted rotors would look awesome with my wheels. Thoughts? |

Yeah when you have a tradition of loosing (at schools like K-State) it is pretty fun to take down a good team now and again! OK BUT REALLY I'm not the type of person to pretend like everything is fine and dandy when it isn't. Notice I did say that the Spring Scrimmage is the only game that I know Nebraska won't loose. But any way thank you all for the nice comments I sometimes forget how far south I am and can't talk football without being attacked because we pimp slapped so many teams around here for so long. JUST KIDDING I'LL KEEP MY COMMENTS TO MYSELF JUST HAD TO DEFEND MYSELF that is what makes college football so much fun! Back to the Motorcycles |

yeah those look pretty badass. I'd probably get them if I was putting them on a racecar and I didn't owe my buddy money for a pipe...j/k. you should be able to get some decent cheap ones from o'reilly's that should last longer than the stock ones, if that's what you're complaining about. i think those other ones are a little overkill but that's cool...they would look good behind your wheels. |

Yeah, I looked at O'Reily's, and they were about the same price as the ones off ebay. I'm not going to be able to get them right away, but I do need some new rotors soon! As for JJ and the pipe, I get paid on Friday, so I'm going to drop off his money that day since I don't have to work. Anyone else free on Friday? I want to go ride while the woman is at work. We leave for Wichita at 2:30 when she leaves work, and then on to Anthony Saturday afternoon. BTW. In case anyone was wondering what to do with a speeding ticket that is under 20 mph over the limit, you should go to court and get it ammended. I went for my date today, and I paid double for the ticket so that they would drop it to a parking ticket. That is why I haven't had JJ's money! I knew I was about to drop $175 for a stupid ticket! Hell, I could have just about bought those brake rotors for that much money! Later. |

That has to be one of my favorite Buell Choppers yet! Is that a preordered bike for a customer? The only thing that I would change on that bike if it was mine is that powdercoating the front end to match the frame. Nice work! Me likes! (Message edited by Olinxb12r on April 12, 2006) |

Hey Olin, Nope, this is my new little toy, er I mean promotional display piece/company tax write off. I'm planning on showing it through this summer and next fall and then putting it on the market next spring to start something else. Of course if the right offer came along then I'd have to give it some serious thought. I am going to be selling my original black mutant this spring, the one with the 108 rwhp NRHS prepped engine in it. Thanks again for the compliment, Justin |

Justin, That looks great, I really like how it turned out. So what's this I hear about you being in town sometime soon and talk about some sort of dinner. Just let us know and we'll show you some fine KC BBQ. Hey if the old lady isn't going to be heading this way with you I think we may have to make a trip to the Outhouse. |
