Hi there, I'm in Somerset NJ and would like to know where I can find some nice roads to ride around here? Most roads around me that I know of and boring straights and highways.

Just looking for some weekend fun. Thanks

I like Rt. 29, along the Delaware River.
Rt. 32 on the PA side too.
About 400 miles of great twisties & elevation up north too.

I live on the south side of the mountain that surrounds Round Valley Reservoir. There are lots of twistys and hills around here. Unfortunately the sight distances are rather short due to the dense woods and the wildlife is also abundant. You can still have a good time if you don't get too crazy. There's a couple of roads in Tewksbury Twp. - just North of Round Valley - that are so twisty that your arms will be burning even at moderate speeds. The Edison/Liberty BRAG riders will no doubt be hitting western Jersey this summer.

RT 519 in Warren County is a must. also
Route 514 (Amwell Road) in Franklin, Somerset County, or Hillsborough to Route 179 South in the Ringoes section of East Amwell to Route 602 East to Route 609 North back to Route 514. Approximately 138 miles. and theres the HIGH POINT STATE PARK TOUR which is always good.

Are you a testicular cancer survivor? Just curious from your screen name?

Wow! Sorry to hear that also. Guess it's better to be cancer free though.
A buddy suffered a similar fate & the jokes & jabs were relentless!
"Boy you've got Ball!", Etc. In fact, his nickname was "The wrecking ball".

Any road up here in Hunterdon County is a good road to ride. I do a 90 mile route through out the county whenever my friend comes up from down the shore. Let me know when anyone wants to go for a ride, I'm game
