Someone suggested that I pull the headlight fuse prior to taping over the lights for a track day. I pulled the fuse indicated in the service manual.. and lo and behold, the headlight still came on when I turned the key and powered up the bike. So.. which one is it? I know it's a 15amp and I pulled each one, and the light still came one. So what am I doing wrong? Or is there some hidden fuse that they don't talk about in the book? Thanks for any help someone can give me on this. |

DUH I'm So Stupeed! Ok, brain finally engaged. Instead of pulling the bulb, I just pulled the wire from the harness and taped it to the side of the connector (that way I won't loose it). Problem solved. Headlight is off. And I don't have to worry about baking tape onto the lens while I'm at a track day. I know, you guys were waiting for me to finally engage brain and realize how EASY this really is... |
