Jens, I heard a rumor of a slipper clutch from Hillbilly-Motors-Motors. Can you comment? Jim (Message edited by jima4media on April 06, 2006) |

No offense to you Smokescreen, and I do dig your bike, but it looks like there is a lot more in to their White Lightning than yours. Their entire bike is the White Lightning, but yours is mostly the plastics only. Like I said, no offense, and I do dig your bike. Apples to Oranges. No if U4euh had went with white and blue instead of black and blue we would have a comparison. (Message edited by Olinxb12r on April 06, 2006) |

too much white is hard to keep clean. I ride the hell out of mine so it doesn't get a bath very often. I like what they did too, I just did mine for probably like 1/10th of what they spent, so I'm happy. |

Any comments on the slipper clutch itself? |

M1combat, what you like to hear? (-: My point is known. I see no Buells in front of any toplevel competitions without a clutchsystem what remove rearwheel chattering and protect the engine against overreeving at downshifting. Jens |

Not so sure about the spoked wheels. Seems like that would be a weak point over time. |

I have always wanted to see how an XB could look as a white. I don't think this one is complete though. The blue headers are a must. And I am not a fan of the wire spoke wheels. So very close. |

looking good Jens. Nice detail work. I like the fork pre-load adjusters. I've never seen anything like those before. The wire wheels get the from me. Then again I like the motard style. Can't wait to see it with the blue header. Be sure to keep us updated. |

Thanks to you all for the friendly feedback. Indy, no thats waterbased paint. Pupu, no the steeringdamper is fixed over a bracket coming out under the lamps assembled to the steeringhead. Paulson, we have a set of white painted original wheels made, thats too much! -we think. But the good thing is that everybody like a different style. Brian, I will do that. Jens |
