5 days and counting till the neuro appointment and the ortho! That means... (hoepfully) no more brace and weight bearing on the left leg. I can start learning to shed the walker then. I will probably be joing the Crusty and Rich club with a cane for a while. Things are getting easier. I walked with walker from the truck to the front door yesterday. It was slow, but did it ever feel good! You know Lafayette took that chair back home with him? He said something about getting drawings from Blake for a new triangulated girter bracing system for the "Court Chair". And please tell your wife hello from us! She kept me company for most of Friday night. LOL |

Not yet Steve. I haven't even ordered the parts yet. I have at least two months before I will be able to swing my leg over the thing. I have taught Sammie how to crank it up so it gets ran on a weekly basis at least. Belive me, I am looking forward to getting to turn a wrench or two on it! Good therapy I am sure! |

Nick, I'm happy to hear your are doing so well, however keep it very quiet or the guys at work will be wanting you to come back sooner! And Sammie will stop waiting on you hand and foot. Got to milk this a little longer!!! Know what I mean? Court: I wrote you a personal email. I'm outta the loop on what you wrote earlier? What am I missing? Everything, and I mean everything, that I have gotten with Buell on it has been off eBay!! Thanks |

Thanks guys! I am probably working as hard at getting back on my feet as I have ever worked at anything. I guess good news is that I will be in much better riding shape than before the accident. I have lost 40+ pounds now! I can hardly wait to start swimming and weight training. Stan: are you kidding? She already has me making my own sandwiches! LOL She has been such a doll. As far as work... I am on the phone 12 times a day! Send me your addy and I'll mail up a poster! My work hosted a benefit BBQ at the airport yesterday. We went to that and that was the firs time I had been through the intersection where I had my wreck since it actually happened. We stopped and looked and realized just how senseless the whole thing was. There is at least a 100 yard field of vision towards the direction that I was coming from...BEFORE you get to the stop sign! That lady had tunnel vision obviously. Anyway.... good to hear from all of you! Be careful out there! Nick |

Hey Nick, Glad to hear everything is going well. I am sure it's alot of hard work, and I am sure boring. I am really glad you are in such great spirits, and from all the stuff that transpired with you and your accident you may want to get your wife a nice new Halo polisher. She was what every man or woman needs in a relationship. Sorry I didn't get down to meet you for Daytona, but I hope that will change in the Future. Larry |
