April 9th is only three short weeks away. I hope all that signed up are looking forward to the day, I know I am. I believe that we are officially sold out with the total Buell count near 40 bikes. How cool 40 Buells at one track on one day! Everyone should expect to arrive at the track around 7:15 am in order to settle in and get through tech inspection before the rider's meeting starts. Talk to everyone soon. Pete |

I'm really looking forward to it! Pete, I will probably need to rent a set of leathers after all. None of mine will meet the requirements posted on the website. Do I need to call them or will you take care of it? |

Oh man.. I'm trying to think if I've got everything.. Anyone know what sort of tool is used to unscrew the plug in the top of a VP fuel bottle? I know, but I just can't seem to get that little plug out! LOL! |

Dumb newbie/novice question. But if I wanted to go, just to watch and not run on the track, is it possible to just get a spectator pass ? I've never been to Pocono, nor to a bike track day, and my current bike and I aren't quite ready. But I sure would love to see what it's all about. And I'd love to meet some of you guys and learn more Bobby |

Is that at Pocono Raceway, the track NASCAR uses? If not, what's the name of the track. Thanks, Jack |

Pocono raceway the same Nascar uses. They used to have motorcycle races there. There is an infield that they can run three different courses. East, North and FUSA course. Each course uses at least one portion of the NASCAR Tri-oval as part of the layout. http://www.teampromotion.com/trackinfo/pocono_ariel.jpg As far as "spectating" Im pretty sure that people are allowed to come and watch. Last event I did there a few friends came to check it out and TPM and Pocono Raceway employees didnt say anything, you could be future business!!! Team promotion runs a safe and fun event, their school is top notch. They get you up to speed in a safe and practical manner and good habits start from the first class session. Each year they seem a little bigger with all the trackside services you could imagine. The staff is what makes the event so much fun!!! |

Bobby, Race_pirate is exactly right. You are more than welcome to come and join us at the track. Track days hosted by TPM are very well run and everyone there is very friendly. If you can make it there by late morning, you can join us for lunch too. Race-pirate, Yep, we are closed on Monday so give me a call tomorrow. What group do you ride in? Space is extremely limited at this point. 732-985-7546 x6 opt 1. Pete |

My girlfriend and I also hope to come watch. Hopefully, it will be nice enough to ride the Buells there. I look forward to watching this event. Anybody taking Interstate 80 eastbound to get to Pocono? We could meet up keeping in mind that the girlfriend has a Blast and we will probably do only 70 - 75 mph tops. |

Sunday into Funday... I like that! Well with the event officially sold out, 34 Buells are registered for the track day. For those who have registered, informational packages will be sent out in a few days. I will include TPM's instructions for track day safety, a med-datta tag for your helmet and other info for the day. Please plan to be at the track by 7AM so we can get together and make sure you and your bike are ready to go through tech inspection. FYI- for those going up the the Poconos on Sat, we will announce a time and place where we can meet up for a couple of drinks Saturday night. Pete |

Any ideas? (wife will be around with the truck, so she and some of the 'friends' can always run out if we forget something.. I hope.. how far into the boonies is this place anyway? |

For those still looking for a place to stay (and not wanting to camp out on Anthony's lawn) several of us got rooms at the Comfort Inn. Team Promotion riders get a good discount. Only $70 a night for a room with 2 queen beds. You have to mention Linda Rabb's name to get the discount. The number there is (570) 443-8461 and address is Route 940 @ 1-80 and I-476 , White Haven, PA, US, 18661. See everyone soon. Pete |

I keep checking weather.com every day while saying a quiet prayer. Having a track day in April is hit or miss. From the looks of this I think we will get a hit! Can't wait til Sunday. |
