Ok so as promised here are the pics of the "modified" bike in the service dept. of Gail's.
So after looking at all of that I felt bad and had to give mine a bath. Luckily the rain never developed and I had time!
P.S. did anyone else notice some small little white spots on the nose of their bike/helmets? It looks as though I followed someone driving through wet paint. It comes off (with some work) but anyone have any suggestions (for example: googone or something like that) that won't hurt the finish? Excellent riding this weekend! Erik |

Erik, try Novus polish, works good on plastics. Nice pics, looks like you guys had a good time. What's with the firebolt with all the straw? Is that the scarecrow's bike? he hehe I think you guys out there take that wizard of OZ stuff too seriously. Bart |

Erik, Your bike looks good! That other Firebolt reminds me of what some of my Grandfathers farm equipment looked like after a day out in the fields. |

LOL Frank!! I guess it was something like that frank, bit it hard for people to think you are the leader when all I ever saw was the as$es of a bunch of XBs pullin away from me LOL. Looks like you had a great ride this weekend, I am very jealous. (thanks for the info tim) By the way that thing is trashed, OUCH. Oh yes Zeus and Frank I was riding home from work and Saturday and the front fork seal came undone or whatever and coated me and the POS with fluid. I will give you all a call on Mon or Tues to get the details figured out. I had been planning to ride it to Omaha on Friday let me know if this is still possible or should I start poutin now?? LOL whatever happens I know you will take care of me. Thanks

Great ride guys! I had a blast once I got over my hangover. Sorry about the pit stop to make sure I didn't puke! I didn't want to give it up in my helmet and have to throw it away! Good times! |

Was that Jason (wingman) I saw in those pics? The little wife still lets him get out from time to time? I am in shock, thought she might have had him locked up in the basement! |

You know that wrecked bike doesn't really look that bad in the pictures. Are they missleading? It looks like it wasn't that bad because it was sliding in the grass. I hope that if I ever wreck mine it only comes out with that much damage! Talk about your all time backfires! That really sucks for him that he threw a big fit at Gails and then had to take his wrecked bike back there to be at their mercy! |

Oh that bike was in immaculate shape for going down at 100+ mph! A broken mirror, throttle assembly, handlebar, blinkers, and that's about it. If the guy is in as good of shape as the bike, he coulda easily walked away. |

Got it, and already have the stock Buell and the modified racing Buell. The stock Buell handles about as good as a blind ice skater that has never skated, but the racing one is quite a bit better. |

This is pretty awesome! I don't know if you guys saw it. Someone made a comment about having white plastics on it. That would look pretty sweet! The black is awesome too, but it would be cool to be able to interchange the two colors.

Anyone want a Black Buell Blast 2001 with 1800 miles? Good tires, extra belt, very few dings. I am second owner, bought from Gail's with about 1400 miles on the odo, about 3 years ago. Sharon won't ride it. It has a miss in the engine on the hwy after it warms up (I am told the ignition module needs replacement, something like $150.00 for the parts), but I won't put money into a bike that isn't used. I will entertain reasonable offers. Don't post questions... as I don't do the badweb anymore. Please call or email. Almost forgot... I have a factory service manual too.
