Just picked up the new Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime II. In the CD jacket is a photo of a rider on a 2006 XB. |

Buba.. Bro, Queensryche is a band of real musicans, most of the 80-90's bands sucked in comaprison, I had a chance to meet G. Tate years ago, must admit I was very high... but that guy is a an alien. Mid.. Lita is a grandmother, becareful what you ask for. last seen living in Mexico, waiting for big hair and bad music to come back. |

IMO: Queensryche finally quit trying to be some sort of soft music boring "artists" recently and went on tour playing the harder music that got them all their fans in the first place. The mini-disk, Warning, and Rage were pretty damn good and creative albums (well, the mini-disk wasn't creative, but it flat-out rocks). Then Mindcrime was very good, but getting too close to the artsy stuff that killed their music later. I definitely would say it is a disservice to group them with Lita Ford and other lame 80's bands. They have something more enduring than the poppy groups of that time, IMO. |

"Ya know yer gettin old when ya get excited about 80's heavy metal hair bands." EASY NOW! I've got a 10 & 12 Year old that listen to Queen, Great White, AC-DC and G-n-R (to name a few) with me all the time. |

Queensryche! Right on! That my wife's favorite band. Have to go down to to local music store to buy it for my wife. I saw them in the mid 90s at the Los Angles Coliseum. Rock On Bueller's! |

I met Queensryche many years ago, they were opening for Ozzy (Bark at the Moon tour complete w/ Jake E. Lee) I got to spend about a 1/2 hour with them 6 hours before the show and I had then sign my guitar case for my red & black flying "Vee" with single EMG Humbucker - a totally 80's metal axe!!! How's the new album??? |

Wow, Queensryche and Buell. That's gotta' be my two favorite things! Any reviews on the new album? I got hooked by the Empire CD, and later on got Mindchrime, but have liked pretty much everything they've made. |

I just looked up the album on ebay & amazon... I didn't find a Buell. A couple of guys w/ tongue piercings & a crowd of fans, but no Buell.. not even a Vespa. Where's the beef?? |

I saw Queensryche on their recent tour with Judas Priest. The guitarist with the mohawk has a Buell sticker on his Jackson V. Tried for a pic on the cel phone, but couldn't see the sticker. Good show. |

The guitarist, Mike Stone, is now playing a Erik Buell designed and hand built guitar. |

The picture is inside the booklet, across from the lyrics for 'The Chase'. Along with a bunch of other imagery. So far (I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet) it seems pretty solid to me and there are a few serious rockin' tunes on it. (Tate gets a little too political sometimes IMHO) As for Lita Ford. I'm sorry, I thought there were music fans here. Please, Lita is still better then half of what's out now and a bunch of what was out when she was performing. Remember, she had guitar chops that can't be denied! Her 'big' solo album was more a marketing thing, less playing, more posing. But from The Runaways till then, and live (even after she toned her performance down) this lady seriously rocked! OK, I had a little jones for her when I was younger.. I mean, who wouldn't have back then? |

Also featured on the tour will be a unique charity auction. Erik Buell, of Buell Motorcycles, has offered to donate two custom Queensrÿche motorcycles for Geoff Tate and Mike Stone to ride throughout the tour. They will be inviting others to come out and ride with them and at the end of the tour, both motorcycles will be auctioned off for VH1’s Save The Music Foundation. Well, that sucks for me....Closest they are going to be to Virginia is South Carolina. Surprised there is no show in the DC area. Would have been cool to hook up and ride with them if even for a couple of miles. As for the album.....it's no original Mindcrime. Nothing as memorable as Eyes of a Stranger, etc. Certainly not as bad as some of the other things they've turned out since Empire. |

Got the new CD today... I saw the band in Stockholm way back in ´93. One of the best gigs I´ve been to. My favorite band and Buell...! |

When I saw them way back when, Suicidal Tendecies opened for them. Erik was wearing a Queensryche hat at Homecoming last year. |
