Here is an idea for you guys wanting to use the CRG bar end mirrors and keep your Airguards on the City X or Uly. I just chopped the end of the airguard off making it look like a dirt bike "roost guard" instead. They don't flop or buzz in the wind as long as you tighten them down good. Oh, and the CRG's are worth the money. You can actually see behind you.

So those really don't flap around that much? I'd be nervous that at speed the wind would flop that thing right onto the brake lever. I don't have a CityX or Uly, so my comment is purely conjecture, but it just "seems" like an accident waiting to happen. Besides, I thought these were brush-guards for all that off-roading... Chris |

Nope, as long as you tighten the screws down good and tight, they aren't going anywhere. Besides, a couple of ounces of pressure would not apply enough force to engage the brake. These things weigh next to nothing. Oh and the owners manual calls them "air guards". |
