Had anyone tried one of these on a XB9s. Everyone I looked into (profiles) had an older Buell. |

I've got one, I like it. They have been generally favorably received/reviewed by other users here. A few have had problems getting them installed and working, the majority did not. I saw your clutch lever question about wanting the lever closer to the bar because of your finger length. I don't think the EZ Pull (aka Easy Pull) will help with the lever position but it will lighten up the lever pull a little. The EZ Pull works by making the clutch actuator arm a little longer and that means that you are also spreading the engagement span at the lever over a little wider arc. So there is actually less "free" or unused motion at the lever with that fitted than with it not fitted. The recommended lever freeplay is 1/16" or 1/8" (measured at the gap where the lever meets the mounting bracket, near the cable). Adjusting the clutch to get a wider gap there would get the lever closer to the bar but you have to give up some of the pulling distance or travel at the actuator by doing that. Giving up some of the "pull in" will give you more gear clash and clutch drag when you engage low from a stop. I sort of doubt that much finger length advantage could be gained by increasing the freeplay at the lever. There are some aftermarket levers with adjustable lever position, one brand is CRG I think. I have no experience with them. If you do searches of the KV for "Easy Pull" and "Muller" you can find more info on the devices for lightening up the clutch pull. A search for "adjustable lever" should produce some results on those. Jack |

Where can I find one for a good price? The website says $30 + $4 for shipping, where did you guys get yours? That muller is too damn expensive for me. |

That's the going price. I posted pictures sometime back regarding the mod. to the inside of the primary cover. I have a 2000M2 so it may not be needed in your case. |

The Easy Pull is sold on eBay and from that website, about the same price either way I think. I put mine on a 2000 M2 and did not have the problem with it hitting the primary case on the inside. If you get one and there is a slight interference fit between the Easy Pull and the actuator arm, try using the provided screw to pull the to parts together and into position. I did that and it worked perfect. Others have mentioned having to grind it to get it to fit but I don't think that is necessary. Instructions are provided and are easy to follow. All the work is done through the clutch inspection cover, the primary cover does not need to be removed. Make sure that the piece that the clutch cable is attached to is put back in the correct way (rounded side towards the engine), or it will hit on the inside of the primary cover when the clutch is pulled. I agree that the Muller is probably a better device but it costs about five times as much so I decided to try the Easy Pull first. And it works fine for me. Jack |

any one have the 'AMP' Power Clutch from j&p will it work on a 97 m2 traffic is killing my hand this looks like the easiest solution |
