Light came on at 126 miles yesterday bucking a strong headwind on the freeway. Steady 85-90 mph with a few blasts past 110 on the way home from the Twin Cities. 850 miles on the bike after that trip. That was the hardest and I've run it for extended period so far. I'm hoping the milage improves, but even with 75 MPH commuting, I'm not getting much over 38-40 mpg. Tim |

Pretty consistent at 160 for me. How much fuel are you putting in when you fill up? |

Hello Jeff, 156.6 right now, low fuel light has yet to illuminate. I expect it soon. I also expect the mileage to increase as I get more miles on the bike. I have the full hard bag set but typically run only with the trunk. Regards, Jim in Santa Barbara |

I range between 145-165 before the reserve light comes on with about .7 gallons remaining. I just rode back from MBIII and ran the longest run non-stop I have ever gone. All interstate non-stop 183.9 miles and the bike took 3.9 gallons to fill. Not bad, 47mpg was running 85mph with some short runs to 100mph to clear traffic. That is also with all three bags on. The bike hit reserve at 167 miles. I was very impressed. |
