Shotgun - The meeting on Tuesday did not produce a clear route; I suspect that if you showed with a destination in I know you are Buell less but untile I hear about that being a problem I don’t think mind that you could have some serious impact. Sounds like Larry is opting to insure his ST3 and not his other street bikes this summer, you two going to be the twins in this summers Buell pack? |

Bob, Doing very well. We are moving off the boat and into a rental house in Suquamish around the first of May. Will be selling the boat. I'm still casting about for a job that pays decently but will keep me home. At least I'm home every week end as it stands now. Marcus and I are planning on both SPLASH and BORDER RAID this year. Glad to hear you are okay. And by the way, the Daytona is still for sale if you know anyone interested. Take care bro.... Paul |

Have to tell ya, you missed one hell of a ride on Saturday. Leaving Vancouver at 8:00AM, the air was brisk, the sky cloudy but as we made our way north to Toledo, WA there were slivers of hope all around us. We met up with Ferris at 9:00 AM sharp, grabbed some coffee to warm the bones, shot the bull, I filled up the bolt and Ferris then took the lead up towards the hill. At times the fog was thick and bit of doubt had crossed my mind at points in time as we made our way up Spirit Lake Highway, in a very spirited fashion. But as we started to climb higher in elevation, it was apparent that the motorcycle gods were with us today! For those that missed the ride, sorry you couldn't be there, maybe next time! LONG LIVE JAVANABA!
Eric poking his head out of the door Saturday morning as we get ready to roll.
Mine and Danny's bike Saturday morning.
Ferris giving a big thumbs up.
Ferris in his domain.
I rare view of Mount Saint Helens in the first week of spring.
Another view of Saint Helens but also including the valley below her.
Erik, Ferris, Danny and myslef Sunday morning just before Ferris launched for the south heading back to the Dome.
Ferris as he leaves my place here in Vancouver, talk soon my friend! (Message edited by pdxs3t on March 27, 2006) |

Deb, Ferris left yesterday morning. He is somewhere in Cali right now and should be rolling into the Dome sometime tonight. Had a great ride and even a better visit, would have loved to have had you and Bob along for the ride and for all of the laughter afterwards, my side still hurt! Jim |

Ferris how long are you here for? Deb, i was in Bremerton and Poulsbo for several days last week helping Ma Bueller celebrate her 82nd birthday, and then hooked up with Corso & Co. last Saturday and part of Sunday on my way south. woulda been cool to hook up with some more folks while i was up there, but it was a much-too-brief, whirlwind trip. Ferris post and let us know that you made it home safely! hi Loni, made it home last night, about 24 hours later than planned, due to two major snow-related road closures (one in Oregon between Estacada and Detroit, and one in California between Mammoth Lakes and Bishop) that i had to detour around, plus copious rain in WA, OR, NV, and CA. the ride last Saturday with Jim, Eric and Danny was an absolute riot, and as you can see from the pix Mount St. Helens was spectacular. several more pix from the trip HERE. Sportyeric, Thanks for the welcome back. Glad to know someone remembers me. Or maybe I pissed everyone else off and they don't want too? Bob? Deb? Chris? Loni? Snail? Oh well! Glad to see most are at least still alive and ridin'. Need your e-mail and telephone bud. Need to make a trip up there to have you buy me a Canadian model sport bike and sell it too me used. I understand that's the current process for an Oregonian like myself to aquire one. My e-mail is "toyracer49@yahoo.com". Phone number is 503-991-7690. Thanks! |

The city of Portland is soliciting opinions on motorcycles and scooters via an online survey. It takes about two minutes to complete. Please take a moment and fill it out. http://www.portlandonline.com/transportation/index.cfm?c=40219 click on "Motorcyle / Scooter User Survey" |

What's this? It's April 4th and no banter since Bob's cool new bike photo on the 31st of March. Some of you must have ridden on the weekend. Come on, tell all! Eric and I went to see "The Worlds Fastest Indian" staring Anthony Hopkins as the New Zealander Burt Munro. Burt takes his classic motorcycle to Utah in an attempt to set a new speed record. What a great motorcycle movie! A must see and may even make it into my very limited movie collection when available on DVD. Have booked a room at the Lakeside for Splash. I'm heading down for the Thursday night and hope others will too. Gives us another day for some sweet rides. Yahoo! Well gotta go. Cheers to all FunJimmy |

Sup Everyone? Jimmy, yeah I have been out on the bike several times (heated gear is a must in oregon) rode out and around Hagg lake a few times, out and around vernonia, and yesterday up skyline and thompson creek. Not sure where I am going today, maybe a quick trip to coast, or maybe up to that snow covered mountain you guys posted pictures of.....who knows, great to have the day to do what I want and good enough weather to ride in. Would be better though to have others to ride with. That reminds me, does anyone else have a chatterbox setup? bike to bike? I would really like to try it out with some others. They seem to work pretty decent for the price, i listen to music, talk to Tracie, and even have the connection for my cellphone (have not tried it yet) but would really like to see how they work from bike to bike. |

Hooliman, nice to see you're up and riding around. I bought some cheap communications system off Ebay, that is supposed to be bike-to-bike, intercom, radio, etc, but it's too bulky to fit into my helmet. Ya get what ya pay for, I guess. There ought to be some universal system by now, with GPS, MP3, phone, DVD, intercom, bike-to-bike, voice and video recording. Oh yeah, and a port-a-potty too. Til then... |

The bloody library unit keeps deleting my finely crafted communication I'm attemting to send out to you all, so just know I haven't given up yet on me, and am looking for another way out of the swamp befor the mud dry's around my feet. I'm even thinking about joining the Scientologist, but I don't think they ride. XOXO...galen |

Shooter! Have not talked to you in ages. Good to see your post. I saw you on the ferry last week, you were riding off as I was waiting to drive on. Still riding the S-3 I see. Saw my old S-3 last week as well. Galen...Check out Landmark Education's Forum. You might find it interesting. Bob... One of these weekends I'd like to pop by and see you and Deb. I haven't seen anyone but Marcus since the Border Raid and Oyster Run. Next month we are moving off the boat and into a house! First time since we have been married that we will be living in a house. I look forward to having my Badweb friends over to a BBQ in Suquamish. Once I get my Hazmat endorsement I'll probably be working a job at the Port of Tacoma so you may be seeing me more often. (thought I'd give you fair warning) I'm very glad to hear your health problem wasn't as serious as it sounded initially. Take care brother. Paul |

Moved off Brainless Island almost 2 years ago.Still commuting on my Buell,as you saw. Are you riding or between bikes? |
