My thoughts are a "yes" but I figured I'd ask... The bike starts and idles just fine. It "runs" just fine. It gets good fuel mileage. It's idle doesn't hunt hardly at all. The problem is that at VERY small throttle openings it acts like it's not getting fuel... It feels like it cuts most/all of the fuel as I roll through 1%-2% throttle opening. If I just open the throttle it works great. Deceleration seems to be smooth and steady. It's just the VERY beginning of the transition from no throttle to throttle. I have a PCIII and have re-set the 0% throttle a few times. When I let the software set the throttle 0% setting it mostly stays at 0% but jumps to 1% once or twice a second. I typically manually change the 0% throttle setting until it's one position away from wherever it jumps to 1%... this gives me a solid 0% but RIGHT on the edge of the PCIII jumping to 1%. I "think" that's the right way to do it. I just barely get on the throttle and it jumps right up to one percent, but it gives me a solid 0% when closed. I think the PCIII is set correctly... More info... If I tromp the gas for a second (like from 3K-6K in second) the bike runs great through the 1%-2% throttle opening area for about 10-15 seconds, then the problem comes back. I can do this repeatedly... It also doesn't do it until the bike has warmed up a bit... In any case... Lemme know if any of you think it's something other than a TPS reset . Thanks in advance. |

M1 - A TPS reset helped mine not to do that. |
