If I didn't call you last night I may not have your number. rectify this please. some ride plans Sat might happen as well. temps in the 50's (maybe, barely, at 3:06 p.m. if the clouds clear, wind stops, and you are standing still....it's possible) so layer accordingly.... hope to have a good turnout. and a funday Sunday.... Bart I will call you tonight. |

I have to be somewhere from 1300 till ?? on Sunday. I could do a morning ride and/or meet for breakfast on Sunday. I will be riding pretty much all day Saturday to celebrate my Uly's 4000th trouble-free mile. Pardon me for being bi-postal. |

Le_salle - I didn't see you when I left today. (I did see a Street Bob though). What do I need to do to get you to order a pair of those waterproof nylon gloves in LARGE and hold a pair of LARGE Gaiter II for me? I don't need to pay up front, or do I? (I'm going to pay using the accumulated points on the loyalty card so I don't want to give a CC number over the phone.) |

Really enjoyed the conversations and great riding today, 15 riders and no injuries, not that I am looking for them, but good deal we had a safe ride. Next time we may have to all pitch in and buy the lead guy a GPS though, hahaha. Hey Bartimus nice meeting you and putting your name with a face, Erik good meeting you as well, and any one else I never met before. Hey club or not this was a good ride guys, look forward to riding alot more this summer. I might need a new pad for pissing off the old lady, but hey, I am allways in for a change right! Sam, thanks for organizing the ride today bro! Good job. The week looks to be windy, but half way warm if I can dodge the rain storms. Paul |

I'm sorry I missed the ride yesterday. I was on my way back from Dallas and some BRAG training. The photos show the clean end of my bike. The tail had some much dirt on it you couldn't read the license plate. I road down Thursday and it had snowed over night across southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma and the road were a wet dirty mess. So this training was with the Harley Owners Group "HOG" and BRAG clubs. There was 350 people there and probably 1/3 road in to the event. There was 6 Buell guys out of the 350. Out front of the Hotel are all these CLEAN shiny chrome covered Harleys to take photos of and two Buells on the first day. That evening at the dinner, the H-D people put on a multi-media slide show of photos taken of the bikes parked at the hotel. Here's what's cool! The photographer took six shots of my DIRTY Buell, more photos of it than any other one bike at the hotel. Next in line was a black Uly

That's going to be a great ride. Excelsior Springs is a town steeped in history from the days when the springs brought the rich and famous from all over. The Sheraton Arms Hotel, a block from downtown, once ranked up there with the Broadmoor, Greenbrier and Grand Hotel, back in the day when FDR celebrated his victory in the grand ballroom. The "Hall of Waters" was the public access to the springs. I'm not even sure it's open. Keep your eyes peeled as you do the portion of the loop southeast of Kansas City, I built most the large powerlines in that area. If you get near, which it doens't look like you will, the Wolf Creek Nuclear plant you'll see some awesome steel towers that head north and cross I-70. Have fun and remember to stop for a couple pictures! Court |

Having grown up 17 miles from there, The Hall of Waters was redone by the city a few years ago and I believe it is open. The Hotel you speak of is the Elms and it is open and has a good Sunday Brunch. Harry Truman spent his Presidential election night there in 1948. |

Tim, I can still read your license plate. Mine was unreadable. It's doesn't matter now all is right with the world. I was able to get the bike washed on Tuesday evening. That's cool about the new BRAG Club. Tim, are you going to be an officer for the club? |

No officer for me, I just think it is cool that they are starting a Brag group and thought others might be interested. Hey Loren you could be an officer of two brag groups. |
