Erik, I heard you talked to Jeff Schneider at Gail's today.....I don't have a phone # for you hence the no-call. This ride has just recently been planned. meet up with the Olathe boys in the a.m. and they know where to find me. We'll be riding around K.C. for the most part. |

Dtx - did you get any sleep? Where did the pup sleep? When we got our Keeshond, we crated her. In the middle of the night, my wife carried her outside to go pee, and fell down the deck stairs and broke her foot so badly she needed surgery and has 2 screws in her foot. Before we got the Dachshund, we got a doggie door and the dogs let themselves out while we sleep. (Message edited by DustyJacket on March 26, 2006) |

I'll be there for the ride. Dusty, I got some sleep the first night, but my wife was taking her out every 2-3 hours. The second night the pup made it till about 5:15 am before we had to take her out. I had to do it this time (thats why I am typing this at 5:29 am!) Oh, and the pup slept in her crate, too. |

I'll second that! It was great to put some faces with the names. I had some pretty good expectations of today but that was AWESOME! Glad that I was able to join you all. I'll invest in a nicer pair of gloves and be ready to go again by next weekend (if the weather shapes up). Thanks again, Erik |

Really enjoyed the conversations and great riding today, 15 riders and no injuries, not that I am looking for them, but good deal we had a safe ride. Next time we may have to all pitch in and buy the lead guy a GPS though, hahaha. Hey Bartimus nice meeting you and putting your name with a face, Erik good meeting you as well, and any one else I never met before. Hey club or not this was a good ride guys, look forward to riding alot more this summer. I might need a new pad for pissing off the old lady, but hey, I am allways in for a change right! Sam, thanks for organizing the ride today bro! Good job. The week looks to be windy, but half way warm if I can dodge the rain storms. Paul |

Hey guys, It was really good meeting you and getting the chance to ride with you. I felt like a VIP with such a large group of Buells leading me around town. Here are some of the pics I took during the ride:
This was the first stop after we ripped down routes 5 and 7. Nice roads!
Festus, man I really like the looks of your bike!
Some nice old iron, I really like the turnsignals in the handlebars...
What a motley crew! Glad I had the chance to meet you guys!
The end to a glorious day!
Sam, thanks for putting your number out there, and getting the guys together for this ride. I really enjoyed myself. The roads were fun and VERY scenic. Good group of guys out here, I look forward to my next trip! Thanks for the dinner, the BBQ was good stuff. I'll get with you guys when you do your 4 corners run. Keep me in the loop. |

I wish I could have stuck with you guys for the rest of the day. I hated leaving, but I made a promise to be somewhere, so I had to keep it. The part of the ride I was on was excellent. Nice meeting you, Bart. |

Art, It was nice meeting you and I am glad to hear you enjoyed yourself and our meager scenery. I guess if you get the right group of guys together, you can have fun no matter where you ride! But seriously, I still find roads around here that make me think I am not in Kansas no more. I can't remember when you head back home, but if you have some time, take that City X south on 177 from Manhattan to Council Grove. It's not too far from Ft. Riley and its a cool road. Its officially designated as a "scenic route" by the state of Kansas. Keep in touch, Drake |

JJ, This route is not as far east as the FBRAT route but should be fun. It picks up some the Letter Roads north of the river and are kind of twisty. The run back through the city on Blue River Rd. |

Heads up on on Blue River Rd. Its closed South of I-435 at before Alex George Park. Other than that it looks to be a great ride... maybe next time. Saturdays have got me pinned down for the next couple of months. But I will ride "On Any Sunday!" |

Sorry guys rookie question here but anyone have any good suggestions for shrinking my pictures down so I can fit them on the page? The ride on Saturday sounds great I think I'll be able to make it (pending the boss doesn't throw a bunch of work at me this week). Have a good week, Erik |
