Sorry I missed ya Saturday Charlie. I'll be sure to get with ya next time your out. When was yer B-day anyways?? I remember last year we headed out to Casey Jones on St Patty's, but I don't remember anything about a birthday. How old are you now, like 20 or something? You'll be legal to drink next year, right? |

Yeah... They just threw on the fresh rubber just before I headed home from Daytona... Damn Pirelli Dragon Slicks only lasted to Mississippi though so I rolled the bike into a swamp and caught a bus. Frickin' Buells... Good riddance. I'll just stick with my 12R from now on... About the treo though... It then re-charges itself in like 45 minutes . Bloody Brilliant little cell phone/PDA/Buell tuning device/MP3 player/camera/video camera/little black book/web browser/tv remote/dictation device/bling. Get one . |

You don't seem to be wearing the proper protective gear. What kinda helmet is that? Jeez, you know what your arms would look like if you went down in that t-shirt? That's awfully squidly and down right shameful Don. YOU of all people should know how to represent the Badweb when in Daytona....ATGATT!! I'm embarrassed for you. And by the way...nice pic you prick! |

The Treo has turned out to be a great phone. I've gone through 3 of them so they arent the toughest built phone I've had. One must have download is called Volumecare. This lets you set the volume levels for each function at an adjustable level that is much higher than stock. I've had about 5 different bluetooth headsets and have found the Palm Treo headset to work best for me. It's louder than most and controls background noise better than most and much better than the microphone on the phone itself, which sucks for picking up background noise. Be prepared to have comments such as " Where are you at, a rock concert?" while sitting on the couch watching tv. Charlie, That is a frightening image burned on my retina. Are those Frank Thomas leathers? Can't see any vents or perforations. You do know you live in the desert right? |

Yep... Yer gunna melt. On a side note though ... when are you going to start racing? My plan is to do a bunch of trackdays, go through the CCS licensing school by September or so, do a bunch more track days and maybe the California Superbike School and start next year as my first full season. I'm going to get a salvage titled bike ASAP and begin putting suspenders on it. Gratuitous kanga leather pic...
I got the one on the left for $689 on Ebay. Brand new . I wish they made one in orange... |

Not fast..more like you have gas! Or maybe on the Jamaican bobsled team! Just how many cows did they have to kill to make a suit that big? (damn I kill myself!) Just kidding Charlie. Looking good! Now just get out there and use them kneepucks...no grinding them down with a Dremel or scraping them on the ground by hand! |

If you look closely, they are perfed all up the sleeves and front. I havn't ridden with them yet, but just trying them on was enough to make me sweat. Like wrestling with a rhino! LOL! They fit snugly but perfect. They guy at the store couldn't believe it. Said I couldn't have gotten a better fitting pair if I'd been measured and had them custom made. Don, I plan on doing the last three trackdays later this year Oct, Nov, Dec (after I've been on recruiting a while) and superbike school at the end of the year. I'd like to race the southwest next season, but we'll see... Too many things up in the air. I don't even know if AZ is where I'll end up recruiting. I could end up in BFE ND!!! That would suck! Hey Brian, I tried really hard to scrape at the last trackday and almost highsided instead! I'll just concentrate on going fast and it'll happen I'm sure. Till then I guess I'll break out the dremmel! LOL! Hey Kobe, you ever seen how bike those Kangaroos get down under??? I'm guessing they used at least two to make my suit though... As far as the phone, I got the insurance on mine so if it breaks, I'm good. Thanks for the tip on the earpiece. I have noticed that people have a hard time hearing me due to background noise. The earpiece I ordered was from cellphoneshop.net. They've got some awesome prices. I'll let you know how it works out. It's an off brand. |
