It looks like we've got a group (3 or 4) from Rochester, NY. Once we figure out what we're doing I'll post some links |

Here are links to a couple of earlier threads about the races. This one from early November, 2005: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/157614.html?1131499391 This one from late January, 2006: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/172155.html?1138639849 The second one was from Ryan, one of our "area experts" up in Halifax, NS. He posted a link to the web page that should be most useful to those of us that are planning to make the trip. I'll repeat that link again here: http://www.cbfestivalofspeed.com/ Jack |

What we're hearing up here is that the race has definitely been cancelled. That's really sh@&*y especially since it was due to the organizers not submitting info to the insurer on time. Poor planning for what could have been the start of a great ongoing event. |

Thats too bad. There is a slight update posted here: http://www.cbfestivalofspeed.com/read_news.asp?ID=3 It indicates that there will be a meeting on it over this coming weekend. Maybe the final decision will come out of that. Jack |

That is a relatively populated and civilized area up there. :> You can get a nice travel guide for Novia Scotia here: http://novascotia.com/en/home/planatrip/travel_guides/default.aspx If you get up there make sure you tell everyone you meet that it pisses the BadWeb folks off when they cancel racing events. :> Jack |

Im still holding on to hope that they resolve all the issues concerning sanctioning. Still have my room booked in Louisbourg, wont give that up until all is lost.Rooms were going really fast, you might be able to still get one cause of this glitch. Shawn |

Jack, Thanks for the heads up on the Nova Scotia website. I hope to wear out a set of tires this coming summer touring some of the maritimes. |

There's a recent update on www.cbfestivalofspeed.com that sounds promising. Maybe they'll actually pull it off. Time's running short to plan such a large event though. I've got my fingers crossed. |
