Welcome Josh... Micah, glad you're okay. That was some scary sh** you went thru... Maybe you should buy a Uly for those 'off road' excursions... Kevin |

Welcome, Josh! We ride all over, most recently north of the DFW Metroplex. The best roads are SW of Ft Worth and through the Hill Country down to Austin. We're a pretty eclectic group of Buellers, mostly on XB models with a Tuber thrown in now and then. I think we're a friendly, social group! Stick around for news on upcoming rides and get togethers. Who's joining us on the 15th??? Here's a screen capture of the video I received of me exiting the "rattle snake" at MSR. I have much to learn.

Looks good to me. Are the cones indicating an apex point? |

Thanks, Blake. Yes, that's the exit point of that particular increasing radius, off camber, uphill turn. I really can't wait to hit OHR. I'm concerned about that track do to some of the pictures I've seen containing multiple types of pavement. Should I not be? |

No worries. It's a rugged small track but as long as you stay on whatever era of surface might be there, you'll be fine. |

This may not be a good post but does anyone know of a job opening that pays in the $15.00/HR range. I will be jobless in two weeks! |

Angela, what do you do again. We have several positions open. Lt dan..... Thinking about going myself, I just got the Sporty tuned up. I can decide if I want to go to the show or go for a ride this weekend. The weather is getting better and better. I think our BRAG officers are in training this weekend, but dagone it; I want to go riding. |

Micah, I somehow got the impression you had an invisible off-road bike... That Suzi looks pretty visible and streetworthy to me! Yes, three of your BRAG Officers (Kevin, David, and myself) are attending Primary Officer Training, and what a production it is!!! Somewhere in the range of 2000 HOG folks (and 5 of us Braggers) have been privy to a HUGE A/V production, great food, and - oh yeah - GREAT classroom sessions! I'm really looking forward to today! We'll be communicating some upcoming events soon, so stay tuned!

Dago, Your picture is bad ass! I would love to do a track day with you guy's sometime. I just don't know if my bike would be considerd too slow for that type of riding. I got it up last week to 115 on some back roads off of Hwy 380 and was jamming out some curves as well. I'm trying to save up about $800.00 for a drummer muffler and a race ecm. Maybe then I can keep up with other bikes on the track. What do you think???? |

Thanks Dave! In no way is your bike too slow. There are guys on 250's who can smoke me on my best day while on the fastest bike built. I took the XB to the track all the time before I got the r6. Motor Sports Ranch (where the above video was taken) is great for the XB's since it's not a fast track and is very technical. Although I've never ridden it, I hear Oak Hill Raceway is even more so. Texas World Speedway, which is where we're going on the 15th) is very fast. But that still doesn't mean you can't come and have some fun. It wouldn't stop me. It really sounds like you could go for a track day or two. Be careful out there. I think I know where you're talking about, and those tar snakes are poisonous. The more I go to the track, the more I dislike riding a rocket on the streets. It just such a tease now. |

Dago, Are you going thru "Ride Smart"?? I believe it's about $200.00 if you need to rent gear and $150.00 if you have gear. That's pretty cheap in my book. I did not get to see a picture of a semi twisty track. The only one I seen was just an oval shape which would be pretty fast.. Since you have been to them already, do they have RULES on passing other riders or something of that nature??? Just wondering because if you have a hand full of riders that ride 100+ mph, and a handfull that where alot slower, there bound to get run over and someone gets hurt. I have more questions about it and if it's easier you can call me on my cell at 214-616-1893.. |

Its was a good action packed day and a nice ride. We ended up in a benefit run with more then 100 other bikers (Again; I had the only buell) it was for a kid that was in a bike accident (see channel 4 news). Also today driver dies in Indy race. Was anyone on a red lightening, wearing a backpack and tan boots turning off Bedford-Euless Rd onto Precint Line Rd this afternoon? Thanks for calling Big Dave. And thanks for thinking of me and the job opening. I will look forward to riding with you soon and meeting your biker babe |

Hey guys, Was anyone on a black firebolt or a blue lightning going down Lebanon in frisco around 3pm today? Was just curious if I might have passed any of you today. Dago, Where is MSR and OHR? Like dave, i'm kind of curious about the track days. Also, I don't know if it peaks your interest, but I know of a new track being built in Slidell, Tx this year. I believe they break ground next month. |

Dago, Never noticed the jethot coated header! Nice man really nice.... I am going to have to go to the track just to watch the two of you go at each other. On another note, I rode the 455 from Anna to Montague. It is worthless from Anna to Celina. I would start in Celina and run it to Montague. The roads are rough from Celina to 35. On the Tiller I was scrubbing speed due to the roads constantly on that stretch. From 35 to Montague I hit 160mph like it was nothing several times. The long stretches and sweepers were nice with some good switch backs. I never did a wheelie before at 135 until I hit a wind gust (cross wind) on the Ray Roberts Dam. The bike stood up on me and I about had to clean my drawers! Personal note to self, no gas stations open in Montague on Sunday. Low Fuel light will blink faster as fuell is running low. Drove 9 miles to Nacona. Funny side note, coming back across the Ray Roberts Dam I was running about 130mph and ran into a swarm of bugs, LOL my visor blurred out and glowed neon green. I pulled into the next gas station and washed my visor with the helmet on like you would your windshield. I had several people shaking their heads and laughing. It was pretty funny. |

Micah, I've done that face shield cleaning quick stop routine on many occasions. Conversely... ever sneeze in your helmet. ewww! Please slow down. The risk just ain't worth it. We want to keep you around a while longer. |

Blake, ahhh you big bear you, you care! You really care! LOL, I hear ya brother. Those speeds were done by myself on long straights with no one else in sight. Granted it is not a plus either way, because if I did bite it there would be no one to pick me up. Honestly, I have had an obsession with speed since I was 12 and it has been easing up year after year. I just had to know what the TLR can do and 0-160 was like being strapped to a dagone jet. Although with the fairings and airodynamics (SP?) of the bike I felt like I was in a pocket totally shielded. The tunnel vision starts to creep in though. ANYWAY, I only ride as fast as the fastest rider when we are riding in the group, Right Guys? Thanks again for your concern. |

HAHAH! Why do you think I follow? It's not as much fun out front. It is easy to go fast, just twist the throttle. I still have a lot to learn and riding behind you guys teaches me how to apex, lean, anticipate and trail brake. All skillz I need to be a better rider. Not to mention providing a good example for the next rider back. Get on a road that stretches for miles and miles with long sweepers and no traffic and I would be hard pressed to believe any of you wouldn't open the bike up to see what it could do. Anyways, I mind my manners around you guys at least I think I do. I would expect any of you to bitch slap me if I didn't, cause I will in a heartbeat if one of you endanger my life or any others.
