On my CityX it was capped off. I believe that on a California model it is used as a vacuum attachment for some emission item. It should be capped to prevent a vacuum leak??? |

On a 49 states models there should be a black rubber cap that blocks that off. On a California model, the vacuum hose on the charcoal canister under the seat plugs onto that barb. If your cap is missing, you could get by with a vacuum hose cap until the dealer can order in a proper replacement. (Message edited by buellisti on March 25, 2006) |

You should be able to get a rubber vacuum cap for it at any Autozone, Napa, etc. |
