Are you hard on the W part? Is it the phat tank or the t-storm heads that are important to you? |

It's the performance part, so yeah the heads. I'm basically looking for a carburated bike (cause I know I can work on them, don't know anything about FI), inverted forks (love the look), and of course the thunderstorm heads. From what I understand the S1W is the only bike that meets all three of these criteria. |

You are correct, the 98 S1W is what you want. Unless you want to consider a 98 S1 that had Thunderstorm heads installed at 0 miles. Will send you details later. The S1W has the advantage of 1 gal more fuel capacity. The S1 has the advantage of looking better without that fat tank. |

Call Justin at Motorsports Cycle Center 618-654-1575 and ask about the S1WL they just got on commission. Mint condition, very tricked out (I hope you like yellow), 19,000 miles. ~$4000 Located near St Louis. Currently parked in their shop next to my FJR that I need to pick up on Saturday. |
