Order from your dealer or any of our dealer-sponsors here. Cost I'm not sure of. |

Cost - About $200-$250 It's not too complex. You have to de-pin the Deutsch connector, and re-pin it, but it's not that hard, and all you need is a paper clip and a pair of needle nose pliers to get it apart. It takes longer to thread the wires through the frame than anything else. It's a three hour job for a novice. James |

Thanks for the info... The shop mentioned it... All in all.. Just bought the Blast with 250 miles had a bad plug wire, plug; gas (of course)...Changed all the fluids. Still would run lean... So after checking more and more, I found that the ignition module was bad, and I had an intake boot leak, fixed that, still ran lean... So I took her to the shop and they found that I had a bad coil! So she is running great now... But the bike was sitting from July 04 till now! So I figured I had to fix something, was scared for awhile, but that is gone now. Got a smoking deal so I can’t complain no complaint here!!! Now the bike is great! I’m happy and can’t wait for the rain to stop! Thanks you all are great! Sarah |

Hi- I'm new to the site, but not to Buell. We just bought our second Buell, an xb9sx from the Brandon, FL dealership. It was pre-owned, 1200 miles, and we put another 350 miles on it in the 3 weeks we have had it. I went to start it on Thursday, and it would turn over but not start. Seemed flooded. This is a major pain because we are an hour from the closest Buell dealership, and I want to be spending time riding, not waiting for the bike to get out of the shop. What is wrong with this bike and why did the dealership mail two dum dum suckers with the plate? Thanks. Beewoman. |
