I was just wondering what "little" things you guys have on or have taken off of your bikes to give them "uniqueness". Little inexpensive things is what i'm looking for.....thanks |

reflectors, rear fenders, grips, and swapping turn signals are all cheap changes. Rit dye changing the color is another low-buck customization. |

Cut stock mirror in two and affixed small slide-on mirror head. Add Renthal Ultra-low bars from American Sport Bike. Makes for a nicer feel at the bars and the mickey mouse mirrors are gone for a leaner look. Also added stripeing to copy Buells expensive paint set. Oh and did I mention....add a Harley Davidson Racing sticker ?

Look at my pix, have done so much forgotten most of it, but know the mirrors and turnsigs made the biggest dif(the front sigs are led w/w squirters from apc), make great flush mount turn indicators!Should have my swing arm sliders done soon, keep in touch! |

the white one is now that green one in the first pic. you can take the rear hugger off if you wanted, just keeps a little crud off is all. mine are still on, just never gotten around to removing them. as far as the plates, its that way on both my bikes and i guess they never really get all that dirty, but i guess i tend to try and keep my bikes clean also. both bikes have been lightened by way of taking reflectors, turn signals, mirrors and belt guards off. black one is only been in the garage for a bit and is mostly stock except for the color change from blue to black bodywork. probably all i'll do to it anyway as i think i have sold it to a friend of mine. olivedrab green one has a d&d and nitrous. |
