Heheheh......no, no, no . . . I meant EVEN ride to Homecoming again! Elves are flying in to New York City from around the world. When we didn't know when Homecoming was going to be, we arranged a "just in case" event in New York City and scheudlated so that if Homecoming fell when we THOUGHT it would, we could easily take off across the country. Well . . that looks like it's going to happen. I jut have a few problems. I need to decide WHAT to ride. It's a tougher decision than you may think. . it's not so much what I WANT to ride, it's a matter of deciding which motorcycle I want to PREVENT Paul from riding! In addition, I need to let Chauly (I call him Chuck) know he's going to Wisconsin again. This is going to be a fabulous Homecoming! |

yeah, I've been looking into it. 2044miles. I'd have to drive because my g/f would want to go. Probably just throw the buell in the back of the truck. one problem is the time off work (I seem to be out of vaca..) plus my bike has been in the cycletrader for like 10 weeks now and with my luck someone would call on it the week before the trip... |

I'll be there. (Thanks to Steve_Mackay). Tim, My brother, son and I got to take a tour of the factory last year. It was GREAT! The people working there are obviously passionate about Buells. We had just finished a tour of the H-D motor plant, and that was nothing compared to the Buell tour. A lot of it had to do with the fact we got a sort of VIP feel since we got a private tour. They even kept the company store open a little longer for us. I look forward to being there and meeting a lot of you. We will have to do name tags or something because I for one am terrible with names. I also look forward to meeting some of the engineers that designed the bike. |

Courtness, As much as I would like to ride to Homecoming '06 with you again, it's not going to happen; my favorite niece has planned her nuptials for that weekend. I'm glad I remembered what the date was... I was just about to dial the Country Inn and make some reservations! |

Look. . if you niece wants to come with us, that'd be great. Imagine the joy on the child's face knowing she'll be spending a week basking in the wellspring of our collective wisdom, knowledge and experience rather than hanging out doing boring stuff on a honeymoon. This'll save'em one airfare, get our friend the groom the attractive single room rate and assure his bridge will be returned, full of Buell-thusiasm and ready to take married life on! This is good news. Let me see if they can move Homecoming.

I've a sense that I've brought, over the past 12 years, enough domestic dischord to Chuck's life. I think I'd better surrender and let him attend the wedding in peace. But.....just on the long shot......ask the niece "may I bring a few friends?" It'll be like a test for her. If she says "yes", show her some of your friends and caution here....never do that again!

Anyone have the low down on the full Homecoming schedule? Hal's, Appleton, Revolution, East Troy, and the races? Or is it still too soon to tell? |

Brian, Dennis,Dave, Tony and myself have set up. Hotel in Appleton,Cookout/Dinner at Daves/Appleton HD Buell.Hospitality tent at Races and Tour of Revolution Performance with Brian Nallin. Dennis is working out some details for a Dinner Saturday night but not finalized as of yet. As far as Hal's.... Brag announced activities there but I don't know when and I don't believe its been announced as of yet. Brag orginally did'n't have a host dealer until it was placed in the latest Fuell. Really couldn't tell ya with that your guess is as good as mine. |

Seemless? sheeesh, what kinda fun would THAT be, seemless Overcome and Adapt! Dana, now that you've outed my status as a legally ordained minister, I spose you want a cut from the proceeds that derive therefrom? ;-} |

Am still waiting for the day that Bomber entertains us with a "Sermon from the Saddle." I can almost guarantee you that it will be a lot more fun than most of the dribble we get exposed to in our day-to-day lives. Just be forewarned, I understand he uses a 55 gallon barrel for a collection plate and none of his marriages have lasted longer than a weekend. |

Oh geez...another Elmer Gantry. Next thing you know you will become a faith healer and lay hands and breathe life (Benny Hinn, better known as Old Garlic Breath) back into all the ailing broken down Buells. Actually, knowing you and your Church of the Entropy Lab, that should be a lot more productive and profitable than the weekend marriages. |
