Hey some of you guys (cataract2), were wondering where I got the windscreen for my 12S. It is a Slipstreamer Spitfire Sport Shield part number S06-C. It came out of the Parts Unlimited Catalog, however John from Johns V Twin Shop, 77 West Fairmont Ave, Savannah, GA 31406 (912) 925-4666 will order it for you and ship it. Please contact him if you are interested. By the way he is also the only guy working on Buells in the area, and he is very good and reasonable. Also a Buell owner and rider. I'll try to get a picture of the screen and post it. I will also probably put this in a more appropriate section. |

It's hard to believe that just two weeks ago, it was a major milestone when Nick sat up for three hours. The power of Positive Energy! |

Hey guys! Well I am able to stand with the aid of the walker. Sammie still has to put the brace on me though. I am taking some baby steps but I have to be real careful not overstress the left knee. Hell I'd break into a full stroll if I could. I have been out to the garage now and looked at the Bolt. As soon as Geico sends the check, I am going to order the parts. I may just keep the thing, even as bad as I want a tube framer. Sammie is even insisting that I keep it and that I ride it again. What a woman! I am fighting hard to get out of the chair for good, but I keep hearing what you said, David. "Don't push it". I push till it hurts then I back off for a while. Again guys...THANKS! You are all a giant help in my reocvery! Nick |

You know there were even a few bikers that came by and when I asked "who are you on the BadWeb"? They said..."We aren't on the web, we just heard about a fallen brother". Man that was so awesome! Now that is what being a biker is about, don't matter what you ride or where we know you from. Made my day, Congratulations Nick! ps- I am still waiting on picture's |

Nick. I'm very happy to hear you're getting better and gaining strength. But please do not over-do it and push the shear fracture on that left knee - just too risky. Trust me, if that fracture "slips" it will royally suck. Do what you can, but give things time to heal up and stabilize. I realize it's hard to be patient, but it's important for the overall success. All the best. Henrik |

Nick -- glad to hear you are able to get around some on your own. Please remember that you are still in the healing stage and don't over do it. I'm sure Sammie will make sure that you behave yourself! While I didn't make it to Daytona, my husband (Carlos, M2nc) and the others from the C3 group had a great time and have talked non-stop about the BBQ and meeting everyone at your house. You guys are troopers. Thanks again for opening your house and hearts under the given circumstances. I hope your recovery continues to move at a good pace. Listen to Sammie and your doctors! Take care, Kristi |

Kristi: you have a cool husband there! It was a pleasure to meet him and the rest of the gang. Court: I think that was Lafayette's idea of a cruel joke! Henrik: Thanks man! I am taking it easy as I can. Oh yes, I have been cautioned about that fracture. I use my left arm as my left leg so to speak when transferring. My pain level right now is about a 4 and I have the pain meds down to about 1 every 8 or so hours. My ribs have finally calmed down and that has been a huge help. Honu: Oh, I wish! Maybe next one. I'll be happy to be able to ride for Biketoberfest. U4: Exactly! I can tell you that I will never ever fail to help a fallen brother if I possibly can. Dave G. It was great to meet you. I'd love to have more time to sit around and talk photography some day. DaveS: Thanks man! I got the check today. Sammie or I will get some parts ordered within a few weeks. |

|blue{My ribs have finally calmed down and that has been a huge help. Yep ... broken ribs is truly an eye-opening experience. You will soon realize that your core muscles are involved in many more movements than you ever thought possible. Less rib pain is a huge step forward. Congratulations Henrik |

>>>No worries on account of you've done an outstanding job with the mass centralization concept. Cut me to the quick. . . . . . you've forced me to engage a trainer. I'm billing Badweb. In all seriousity. . . it's shipping day today . . . three cases up in the truck and today's packaging going in a box. Ran out of XL's . . so Greg Gabbard write me and let me know if L's will work. Mr. Hill you never gave me a size. . . you got L. Most of you wanted to know how to pay. . . you can't . . the shirts are courtesy of the good folks a BUELL RACING for the outrageous support of Badweb folks. But. . there are a couple things I'd ask, if you are so inclined:
- Make sure you wrote those e-mails, or letters, the folks at HD and the dealers who brought you Buell Racing.
- Don't forget to slip over to TEAM ELVES and support Jim Higgins Land Speed Racing. Jim represented all Buell owners is top-notch style in Australia.
- As a personal thing, I'd like to ask that you consider slipping over to Badweb Sponsor LIBERTY HD/BUELL's website and buying a BU 78 Buell patch. Hang it on your wall, out it on your jacket. I order LOTS of these when it looked like we were going to have to MAKE shirts. When the need went away, the folks at Liberty had expedited them in and didn't charge me. I'd like for us to help get them off their hands.
Thanks to all of you for supporting BUELL RACING. Court P.S. - International orders go next week....I'm not up for that line today!
The RED WING box is the left overs headed to Badweb's Iraq outpost. Those of you requesting Buell posters, goodies, gap gauges and stickers....they're on the way Monday...just before we close the shipping department for a while....SEE YOU AT THE RACES!

Nick; It hasn't arrived yet. I'll keep an eye out and let you know when it gets here. How's the recovery coming along? I know that you're able to get in the truck, now; are things getting easier? How much longer before you can start motivating under your own steam? |

Nick, Glad to see you are continuing to improve. Say hi to Sammy from my wife & I. As you can see from the above picture, my wife got a real kick out of Court's destructive testing methodology. I wonder if he learned that back in the early days of Buell. |
