Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, you guys didn't like the rain? How about some snow? Kelly, we were scheduled to ride up and over the Jemez today, the same road I took you up and over. With two inches of snow in Albuquerque, I imagine there's about a foot of snow up there. Maybe I'll just go out and do donuts in the parking lot, LOL Wycked, Pain is your friend, get used to it. I did, you will. |

i thought you could face a blizzard with your plug in contraptions! And don't worry, if you fall you have frame pucks now! oh well. have fun in the white stuff. I didn't get to see any this year. no snowboarding in flagstaff this season. closest i saw was some hail coming back from las vegas in feb. hey wycked, i still have some metal that looks just like that in my collar bone. but i'm lucky enough that mine doesn't hurt. but it's good to hear yours is getting better. no pain no gain... |

that is only half the hardware, the rest is staying which means 10 screws a plate and a pin. So as Bart puts it "Pain is my friend". But admittedly, it is less pain. |

I'm trading my XB9S in this coming Wednesday. I am going to retain my license plate until I can find someone who would like it. My plate is XB9S Any takers? |

Don't hate me now. A new BMW R1200RT. I have service and parts manual that are going to be availible, as well as my permantley mounted tank bag on a yellow airbox cover, clutch cable, brake cable and some other things that I just can't remmeber off hand. Did I mention the street fighter seat and stock muffler (for those who want to send one to drummer and not use your own). Did mention my Royal Enfield flyscreen mounted on a yellow XB9S windscreen? just letting everybody know that on april 6th we(arizona desert thunderbikers) will be hosting our first official BRAG ride.its open to anybody who wants to go regardless of whether you a club member or even a buell owner.we are still trying to get conformation on whether eric buell or john (ceo) are going to make it but that is the plan. either way it should be a great time. so if you can make it that would be great, it would be nice to have a good showing for the factory.the ride will be approx 325miles,it will leave from chandler harley/buell at 9 am we'll then ride to show low and then loop over the 260 to the 87 back. breakfast will be provided at the shop and lunch in show low. also the first 25 people to preregister will get a free pass into bike week that night.you can register at ThunderAZ@msn.com please if you plan on going please register so we know how many are going.if you have any questions you can email jeremy at the above address or call me at 602-750-9303 or email at abroughton@ridenow.com (Message edited by BABYHUEY on March 13, 2006) |

I'll be there. Considering the lack of traffic there will be, it is worth it to me to take the day off. |

Huey, Not sure if I'll be able to make it. We ride every Sunday out here, it's either me or Murrae leading the rides. Is this ride part of the "wicked Twisty" ride BRAG is sponsering? Or is this just your first official BRAG ride for your group? Brian, I didn't make it out to Phoenix, the parts didn't come in, in time. The company is still sending someone out next week, but I'm on the schedule to go to Kansas for two weeks. I plan on bringing one of my bikes and running around with the KCmob crowd, and possibly running up to Appleton to meet DaveS. We'll see. I leave on Monday. |

Fortunately no, unless it is surgery to go in and repair nerve damage, I won't be having any additional elbow surgeries. |

A little wet at the track today. The good news is it stayed dry long enough for me to realize just how much the SERC helped my riding. Form was much better. I'll post the pics when I get some. Felt really good to go fast. Then I almost lost it... Coming out of turn 4 trying a new line I was taught (not the dry one) my rear end came around. Really scary how fast it happened. I felt the bike slide around to the left and then bam! I was airborn. Classic highside with legs in the air and head going over the handlebars. I pulled myself downward onto the triple and somehow landed back in the saddle. Pit row was dead ahead so I parked and checked my drawers. Lucky save! Had a blast anyway, funny thing is it really didn't scare me, just realized that riding the way I wanted to wasn't safe so I packed it in and went to the mall. Wish I could have seen more of ya'll. Prolly a good thing ya didn't come out. BTW. Thank you so much Ski & Mel for the great company, food, B-day cake, (and the dirty gift). Hope you made it to Cali safe through the storm. |
