Finally making some headway. Got my new traction grips installed yesterday and new Pirrelli Diablo Stradas put on today. Went out for a quick spin, eight miles maybe, on my local twisty. Everything is fantastic! Grips felt very good and the tires are awesome. Turn in is...well, what I always thought it should be. With the new tire profile the bike is suddenly light and flickable. I'm finally one with the bike. Still scuffing the tires in, so I will evaluate dry grip later. A big thanks to all the BAD WEBers who helped me with my tire removal issues. What a good day. |

I hear ya! My used xb came with new Dunlops, and thank the lord, they wore out. Two weeks ago I finally got the Conti road attacks on the bike. It does feel like a different bike now, so much easier now to lay it through the curves. Best bang for the buck so far. You people were right. For me, Dunlop days are finally over! I hope to ride up to the NC mts. next weekend and give them a decent workout before the Badness. |

Hi Jim..I'll probably go up tomorrow morning. Very early. 220 to 65,66,52N,BRP for 25 miles to Mabry Mill to get some grits. Might come home a different route. How is the bike coming along? |

I've read alot of good about the qualifier, but they wear quicker than most other street tires for the money. |
