To get the rear plug out we all know you got to have a swivel tool to get the rear plug out and to install it. My question is this what do you all use to install a compression check guage in the rear cylinder? Since it has a hose coming out where your socket would go it looks as if it would be nearely impossible..Anyone done this before? Does anyone know what the dealerships do. Please dont tell me you got to rotate the engine to do a rear cylinder compression check....lol Thanks |

If you feed it in as you would a plug (I use a piece of tubing to start mine) I don't see the problem. I know my compression gage has an o-ring seal so it should not be overtightened anyway. You should be just fine as long as you're careful getting it started into the threads. |

So finger tight on the compression check guage fitting is good? Good to know. thanks Rocket I beleive you right, I would do the leak down check but I dont have the equip right now. Hummm give me an idea...thanks |
