Loren-It was awesome!! Sunday was Buell day got to ride all of the Buells and a few of our competitors bikes. I was one of the lucky ones and was able to use both tracks the infield track in the morning session and then in the afternoon on Freddie Spencers Track outside of the speedway. I liked the outside track a lot better it was longer and more technical. That was the first time for me on a track, I'm hooked!, I need a fix! |

Thought I would post some pics of my trip to Vegas, the Nascar photo's you see were from the Richard Petty Driving School, here's a link to my instructors while I was there. http://www.freddiespencer.com/html/instructors.htm

Loren, don't hold me to it, but it looks as though my better half may "let" me go? Anyway, our travel plans got scratched so it looks as though I need to book a cabin. E-mail me with the specifics you all have thus far so I can put together my sleeping arrangements down there. Also it looks as though one of my old work pals brother lives down in that area, so we may skate for free?? Not sure until I see your travel route though. Paul |

Hey guys, I'll be coming up to the Ft. Riley area for two weeks to work, and was thinking of bringing my bike. Any of you around that area? Are there any curvy roads around there? I'd like to get together and meet some of you Kansas Buellers. Bartimus |

Art, There are some good roads through the Flint Hills of Kansas. Let us know when you will be in the area and we'll see if we can put a ride together. |

Hey guys, thanks for the fast response. I'm driving out on Monday, the 20th. I'll be working at Ft. Riley for two weeks. Not sure what town the company will put me up in. Maybe Manhatten or Junction city? I'll be bringing my city-X with me. It's the smallest, and easiest to load, LOL. Nice of the company to let me haul my bike around, eh? It would be great if I could hook up with some of you guys. topeka doesn't look that far away. Are most of you guys in KC? I'll still be around the weekend of the 25th and 26th. Maybe someone can give me a tour of the big city, LOL. Or perhaps some local roads. I'm game, just keep them Tornados away! Bart |

Bartimus, When you unload your bike in Kansas it will take about 10 minutes for your ECM to adjust to the air change. I figured that out when I took my bike to Colorado last summer and again when I unloaded in KC. Once it relearns, it will run fine. FYI Drake |

Bartimus, are you going to have access to this place while you're in the neighborhood? I've been instructed to take care of you while you're here by a VERY highly regarded individual no less.....OK I'm exagerating...he's more like a highly retarded individual, who rips monster wheelies on an S1 between AARP seminars. anyhow, I'd be honored to put some faces together for you when your in or near town, and all I will need is for you to let me know what time/day is good for you! Sam Minnich (913)244-4195 this picture was taken near FORT RILEY, really....in Kansas!:

Shazam, I will have two days access to your location, next Saturday and Sunday. I'll be out and about after work on the weekdays, but figure I won't venture too far past Topeka in the evenings. I'm driving out on Monday the 20th, and will be staying in Junction city. Hmmm, so who's instructing you to take good care of me? LOL He, isn't this Courts neck of the woods? I read where Ferris met his sister on his ULY ride last summer. I managed to meet him in Colorado. But anyway, I'm free to see any sights or roads you guys wish to abuse me with. So just point me in the right direction on Saturday morning and I'll meet you wherever you want. so what's the difference between the KCmob and KCLW? BuellHO |

KC's Least Wanted.... kinda speaks for itself. splinter cell. I meant would you have access to the "badweb" neighborhood while you are in Kansas or do we need to set up phone tag protocals? It's also Mr. Tripp's neighborhood! |

Hey guys, I made it to Junction City. What's with all the snow? There's about 12" of the stuff all over the southwestern part of the state! Not too warm here, I hope the forecast is for some higher temps. It's 33 degrees according to the bank across the street! Feel kind of silly with a bike in the back of my truck, LOL. |
