My take on the last couple of days/daze: Wow! Nick & Sammie you're the greatest! Dave & Penny -- it was my pleasure to meet ya'll. Crusty -- Great to finally meet you! Blake -- a genuinely nice guy and after meeting his father it's understandable. KC Hooligans -- ya'll got it going on,,,sick bunch of Bueller that you are :-) Ebear -- Thank you! Your assistance was awesome. Jim, Always good to see you buddy! I meet the other RTP/RDU guys too, but I'm terrible with names -- nice to meet all of you. Court -- nice to meet you. Everyone wanted some of your time and it was my pleasure to shake your hand and say "hey." Erik -- a big thanks for your time and the pic of you and Boog. Houston Bueller and wife -- forgot your names (I do have a great pic of ya'll after we slipping through the fence .) A very nice couple!!! I'm missing so many names and it's my fault. It was exactly what the doctor ordered for my mental health. Quote of the weekend: "Dad, dad, dad, It's Erik Freaking Buell, no way man, no way, it's Erik Freaking Buell, I'm not leaving here until I get my picture with him!" BoogM2/Greg Gabbard Jr. Blake facilitated the logistics, we got the pic of Boog and Erik and I was finally allowed to make my way home. If Daves had been quiet I'd of been out of there 3 or 4 hours earlier -- Thanks Dave :-) Just kidding it was well worth the wait to see my son having such a great time. You meet the nicest people at a Buell event :-) G2 |

Thanks everyone it was great. Sammie & Nick - I can't begin to thank you all enough for making this happen. And it looks like you managed to make it through the weekend w/o getting your house trashed and your neighbors are still speaking to you. It says something about the quality of your friends when you can invite 100 people off the internet to your house, and the police are not involved at any point. My funny story for the weekend. I'm standing in Nick's front yard and a Uly pulls up with 2 chicks on it. One of them gets off and the other girl goes tearing down the street, pulling a wheelie, her ponytail flying in the breeze. And I'm watching her thinking "Hell yes! I want me some of that." All of a sudden I recognize the girl who got off the bike, and realize "Oh, $hit. Thats DaveS doing wheelies." You gotta get a haircut man! I'll write more later! You all are a great bunch! |

That is too funny Jl! Like I said, Buells( and a certain hopped up 883 Kandie used to have) are just not happy unless they get to point at the sky now and then. Kandie told me no wheelies with her on the back so I had to take advantage of the only solo riding I did while we were there by doing a few very weak wheelies. I wish I would've had a little more time to get used to the Uly and been able to do some proper wheelies. Kandie and I made it back to Iowa yesterday. What a trip. Thank you Nick and Sammie for opening up your home like you did. It was great to meet everyone and see some that I have met before. I hope to see all of you again in June for the Homecoming Rally and races at Road America! Come on Court post some pictures! |

Thanks a million for posting photos for those of us who could not attend. Sounds like the Buell event of the year. Post all you've got! It's the next best thing to being there. Now where can I get one of those racing T-shirts? |

Hi, Guys...My Grandfather fell on Saturday and I spent the weekend at the hospital and my Grandfather passed this morning. He is not struggling anymore so he is better. Anyway not up to much posting right now, but I did want to say that even the announcers said Buell was competetive and would improve through the season. McWilliams was racing May on a factory Suzuki and beating him. What killed them was stupid things that they should have planned better for. They had problems in the pitts supposedly due to the diffrent front brake rotor. To beat teams like Honda you have to cover every base and their pitstops are 3 times faster even without problems. And Buell seemed to have the shortest range on Fuell and I can attest to that from my experiance on my Bolt. Anyway, Hope you all had fun and everyone made it home safely. Larry |

Sigh, back at work.... I had a great time meeting all of you at Nick & Sammie's house, and hangin' around the track for the races. If it hadn't been for the 5:10 AM flight, I would have hung around longer! Nick, you make sure not to rush the recovery, and Sammie, make sure he doesn't! Thanks again for the hospitality, and enjoy the BBQ sauce... |

Sounds like quite a gathering. Nick and Sammie were very gracious in opening their home to all of these Badwebbers. Glad to see it all worked out! I was in Daytona from the 2nd till the 11th. I had a few Badwebber cell numbers written down, but I just felt weird about calling a total stranger's cell and saying "you don't know me but....". Now, I'm really kicking myself. It looked like the Goodyear Tower at the track was full of Buell fans exclusively during the 200. How did that arrangement happen? I would have liked to see the race from the roof. |

I got home a couple of hours ago, and just want to say thanks to everyone for making this year's Daytona the best one I've been to. Nick and Sammie; it's an honor and a privilege to meet people like you. I don't have the words to say Thank You the way it should be expressed. Erik Buell; you are truly a Class Act. You continually exceed my expectations. Everybody else; I don't want to slight you, but I'm exhausted. I just want to say that it was a fantastic week. If you were there, you know what I mean. If you weren't, you missed a Happening. I'll post more tomorrow. I need a hot shower and some sleep. Buells attract the neatest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. |

This was my first time at a Buell event and meeting other Buell owners. Words alone can't express how welcome I felt and how great everyone I met was. Thank you all for making me feel like one of the family. Any Buellers cruising through Maryland do not hesitate to contact me and stop by - please do so, you are all welcome. Nick and Sammie, thanks for everything, I can't wait to make it back next year and hopefully see everyone again for the race and to see Buell Racing take the trophy. I posted my best pics on Court's thread check them out when you get a chance. |

I just want to jump in and say thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Nick & Sammie, you guys were great! You opened up your home for us Buelligan and we appreciate it. Court and Blake, Kudos to the chef and thanks for the shirt. Apparently they made great pit passes. Erik, thanks for coming and spending a little time with us. It really was just icing on the cake for a great weekend. The XBRRs are awesome! C3, thanks for the ride. It was great traveling with you guys again. The Bike has a whole new shine to it. I wonder why? I have similar pictures but I did take a few shots I haven't seen anyone else post yet. Court presenting the shirt! Tag, you're it.

but I just felt weird about calling a total stranger's cell and saying "you don't know me but....". Now, I'm really kicking myself. Lowlife, I felt the same way. I, too, am now sorry I didn't go visit with Nick. I even went to the track early on Saturday morning to try to run into a few badwebbers, but the Buell demo trailer was gone from the spot it was in on Thursday. I never found it. Anyway, there is always next year. |

The Demo Trailer was about a mile walk from the front grandstand. If you just walked past everything and followed the track, it was behind the 3rd corner of the Outside oval. They had about a dozen Buells and one of the race bikes on display. |

It was a hike. We parked in lot 70 and the provided transportation dropped us off right by the Buell area. Transportation officials said "we'll run until 6:00PM" Well, uh, they didn't and we volksmarched back to lot 70 prior to heading to Nick's place. There was 10 or 15 Buellers hanging out there by the time we started moving towards the front gate. Rich, Ebear,,,,I can't remember all the names, but there was a few of us. G2 |

You guys keep thanking us, but I truly feel I owe you all the world for the company and friedship. You guys that didn't make it by, that's ok. Sammie and I are already working on BuellBQ 2007!! WOOHOOOO! I would like to say thanks individually but man that would take pages! You know there were even a few bikers that came by and when I asked "who are you on the BadWeb"? They said..."We aren't on the web, we just heard about a fallen brother". Man that was so awesome! By the way.. I stood up today! 6 times!! That felt like I was out of jail! Thanks again guys! Post up some more pics. So far they have been super!! Nick |

I'm going to say it!! Nick, you and Sammie are the shit! First you started pulling this whole Buell Extravaganza together for no other reason that to see it happen. Then you go thru a terrible accident and in recovery, you and with a major part from Sammie, decide to continue with the plan!! No one expected you to continue with, yet even pull this off. Everyone that even has thought about owning a Buell ought to thank you. Saturday, to see you with Sammie's awesome help, pulling yourself out of that hospital bed into the "turtle shell" and into the wheel chair, should be inspiring to anybody. You have definitely inspired this old man!! Along with Court, DaveS, Blake and many of the others I met. What a bunch of guys!! If you do end up selling the "bolt", I hope Erik gives you an '08 for your final reentry to the "Buelligans". |
