Those pictures have been going around forever. There are so many people that have photoshopped stuff in to it. I've seen some pretty funny ones. Have fun in Daytona boys. |

I'm still here. FX race on Speed Channel at 1230 Saturday. I was planning on watching it at home, but would think it fun to meet whoever's left here in a bar somewhere that might be showing it on a big-screen. |

Good thing I didn't waste a trip out of the house to watch that huge embarrassing failure. I liked Buell better before they decided to try racing again. |

They have it covered pretty well on the XB board. I am not as disappointed as I was when I wrote that last post. |

FTP Leawood Police! Cristy lost her keys to her apartment so I hurried over to her place all the way from work to Overland Park on my lunch break and I got an 82 in a 65 on 435 just passed state line. F'n bike cop was cold and wanted to give a ticket before lunch, so he picked me out of about 8 cars to be so lucky to get a $90 ticket! So now the question is do I just pay the $90 and end up waiting 3 years for it to drop or do I pay for a diversion? If I pay for the diversion I've got to pay about $250 and I can't get in any trouble for the next 6 months or I wasted $160. Considering that summer is coming up I'm not sure how confident I am about not getting another ticket for 6 months. BTW cool pics. |

Guys, Court said in another thread that Buell has a special section on their website with pictures from Daytona. You need to go check it out because yours truly is in one of the pics! Click on the Mania button and then the Racing section to find it. God I am lucky! Drake |

Drake, you're famous! Nice pic of you on the Buell website! I bet you didn't think you would ever see that when you bought your bike. I know it would've never happened if you bought a ricer! I think it is really awesome that Erik showed up for the BBQ. Stuff like that makes me really happy with my purchase. |

Drake, I saw that, pretty cool. I guess it pays to keep your bike clean.

Who says? Clean bikes, pssssph. Ride it hard and put it away dirty, that way you have to get dirty when you want to service it. Tim will tell you, he's in my boat! Thanks god, it sucks to be the only person that never cleans their bike! |

WOW- I just put on my new pipe and HOLY CRAP! I decided to go with the D&D (mainly because I got a cheap one from a friend in Omaha). I expected loud but this is awesome! I haven't ordered an ECM yet because of the argument between the Race and the DL tuned and I can definitely tell there is something missing there but still the noise! So when is everyone going riding? I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and want to put some miles on this pipe so I can get used to it. Talk to you all soon, Erik |

Erik, Good choice on the D&D. You definetely won't need to worry about the durability of that pipe. Plus, I like the dual outlet look. Some of us just got back from Daytona and we were spoiled by the 80 degree riding weather. This 40 degree stuff is shocking my system! Hurry up spring... |

I bet! I just saw on another post that you guys all went down there. Next year I'm with you for sure. I was planning on going but some work CRAP came up at the last second so I couldn't go. You guys took a trailer I'm assuming??? Or did you run into some not so fun severe weather on the way back? |

Hey guys, I'll be coming up to the Ft. Riley area for two weeks to work, and was thinking of bringing my bike. Any of you around that area? Are there any curvy roads around there? I'd like to get together and meet some of you Kansas Buellers. Bartimus |

From your profile pic, in front of Handlebars there in Silverton, CO, (one of my favorite places on Earth) I would say that you may be slightly disappointed, but it wouldn't be enough to make you regret bringing the bike. This area is not known for its curvy roads, but we have some spectacular scenery and fun places to go. I say bring it! |

Bartimus, I went to college in Manhattan, which is not far from Ft. Riley. There are actually some pretty good roads around there for Kansas. That area is considered the "Flint Hills" and has some great rolling scenery. If you check out the roads around the two big lakes (Milford and Tuttle Creek) you should find some twisties. Also, one of the most scenic roads in Kansas is Hwy 177. It goes from Manhattan all the way down south to a small town called Cassoday (almost to Wichita). The first Sunday morning of every month they have a heck of a bike rally that draws 5,000 plus bikers. I think you would like it, plus the road to get there is great. It won't have the tight switchbacks like Colorado, but rather lots of nice open (high speed) sweepers. I don't know of any Buellers around there as most of us are in the KC area. Oh, by the way, be sure to check out Topeka HD/Buell. Its a VERY cool shop. You could probably spend a Saturday morning there, if you wanted! Drake |

The only curves near KC are the ramps on the interstate. Even the girls there don't have curves! You have to come over near St.Louis for the good roads. Hi guys. John (Have to put a new stator in my S2T now) |

I went to school in Manhattan also, and you'll find some decent roads out at the lakes. Other than that you can just go ride outside of Fort Riley and Manhattan and you'll find some fun little sections of road. There's normally quite a few guys with bikes in Fort Riley, and when I left there was quite a few in Manhattan too. I believe there is even more now. I think I had my Yamaha for 2 years while I was in Manhattan, and it's a good bike scene. Look out for the kids that just started. That will be most of them. |
