dang. double dog dang. just got hit with 7-9 inches in a late season snow storm. the bikes tarp partially blew off and i was wondering if there is anything i should do to a bike partially covered in snow. im particularly worried about the front ztl set up as there seems to be quite a bit of packed in snow on the wheel. my muffler is rusting away too, i noticed today. has this been treated as a warranty issue for most of the others? chris |

I plan to just sand and rattle-can the muffler with some Bar-B-Que paint myself. Rck00 got his replaced under warranty. |

Hi Chris, I also woke up to 6" of new snow this AM! It was smoke powder snow though and the sun is going to quickly burn it off.... I am hoping to get the bike out for the first ride of '06 sometime in March if only the ice will finally let go! I wouldn't worry about the snow on your bike. I can't imagine it causing any damage. Ride on. |

We hit 80 degrees here in Nashville both Saturday and Sunday. Sadly, I had to teach an MSF course this weekend. I'm pretty well sunburned on my face and neck. I did get to ride some on Sunday. It was a nice day. Turning cold again this week though. Blackberry Winter is what we call it here. It will warm up and you'll think Spring is here, then one last gasp of winter will hit. I've seen it happen as late as May. |

Mid 50's in CT today. Out for my second ride this season. The bike is feeling strong with the Special Ops Tailgunner. I felt the front get light when I was passing a truck. Maybe next time..... |

Dang, even here in New Mexico we got some of the white stuff! Never mind, it's "Spring Break" for this pointy-headed professor, and I'm doing a 500+ mile ride in SW New Mexico on Thursday! I'll roll over the 6,000 mile mark on the Ulysses, with many more rollovers to come. What a great bike. Y'all (oops, that sounds like a Texan, that's heresy here) take care. |

Got out and road skyline again Saturday and Sunday. Had to keep the bike totally upright around some tight icy corners. Got to ride a little dirt road that goes past Spirit Mountain Ski area. People getting off the quad lift were giving me some looks. Got some great break-in miles on. Woke up to a snow storm again Monday morning. Spring is pretty slow getting here in Duluth. At least I'm getting some teaser rides in. Later, Tim |

I am getting in a few miles here and there. Hope to meet some friends on the rounder board in Michigan on Sunday. 40's and partly cloudy. Glad I have electrics for the 4 hour trip. |
