Hi Guys,
I installed the Drummer SS this week and all I can say is "WOW". The bike feels totally different. Aside from the sound which is great the power it received is awesome. Kevin did a great job with this pipe. The craftsmanship is excellent. I also installed one of kevin's points covers. The quality of that is also great. I would recommend these products to anyone. Wrapping the exhaust yesterday was a bit of a challenge, but i love the look of it. I still have to put the black sealer on it. Thanks Kevin for the great work. Can't wait to ride some more.

Billy

Whats up with that wrapping on the headers? Whats it do?

It helps reduce the temp of the headers. It's also a big deal if the pipes are close to your legs. Al made a post about using the heat paint and the temp differences on the surface it made. The results were really dramatic.

BTW Smooth, it looks great. One question, did you have to remove the pipes to wrap them?

Thanks guys, I didn't remove the headers to wrap them. The front pipe was fairly simple, it was the back pipe that was a real pain. Besides the 02 sensor being in the way I could not fit my hand all the way up to the top. I wrapped it from the 02 sensor down. I was told you have to drop the engine down a little to get to the rear pipe. It seemed alot easier to do it with the pipe on. I ordered the wrap from Summit Racing. I will be putting the sealant on this week.
