Sometimes I get real excited when I see a buell. They are very rare in Orlando seeing that Orlando doesn't really have a proper dealership. Seminole Harley has a few a buells but is not really located in central Orlando. Orlando harley doesn't sell buells at all. So you can imagine that I feel pretty lonely on the roads filled with gixxers. Today I was on my way home from work on the bike and I noticed there were a lot of bikes on the road these days. Almost home I see a yellow xbs and I got so excited I started honking the horn. As if my bike had just found it's long lost relative. After the bike turned off my excitement left me and I thought I need to keep it under control or I'm going to have an orgasm at Daytona. I guess that's one of the great things of owning something not everyone on the block owns. It just feels more personal. Just wanted to share my little story. I'm sure you guys know where i'm coming from. |

Too funny and I still do the SAME thing. It was worse when there were only 6 in the country. Good news is that 3 were in my home town. . so I became accustomed to "knowing" everybody I ever passed on a Buell. To this day, I spin my head and try to figure who it is. I'll be in Orlando tomorrow, if I see the bike I 'll wave.

I kept my eyes peeled all day long on my drive down and didn't see a one. I got excited when I pulled in at Nick and Sammies and saw a Uly sitting there. Can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow. I feel like the kid in the Disney commercial, "I'm too excited to sleep!!". See ya'll tomorrow. Rick, I'll swing by Nick and Sammies and ride with you. |

While they are fairly rare her in central MO, I saw a bunch of Buells at Daytona, on the street as well as on the track. You think These things might be catching on?

I stopped by Iron Pony, a popular MC "superstore" here on the northside of columbus, last week. I have seen four buells in my 8 yrs living here and as me and my son are walking up there was a black M2 sitting by the doors...belong to anyone here? |

Don't feel bad. In Vermont we still identify the owner by the color Buell they have, since there's almost no duplication. At the worst there might be two of a color, but are usually tuber and xb... Roger has the blue one (S3) Todd has the red one (XB12R) Jason has the white one (XB9R Bo has the yellow one (Cyclone) I've got the black XB12R and theres a guy with a black tuber around too... I'm half tempted to pay the $35 fee to see exactly how many Buells are registered in VT...it wouldn't surprise me to find it in the single digits. No dealer in the state... |

Court are you riding up to Daytona from Orlando? If so contact DaveS I'll probably meet up with him for the ride up tomorrow morning. Southern Marine, I walked into a harley dealership once when the Uly came out and I just stood there in awe drooling over it. When I sat on it I couldn't reach the ground but I still wanted it anyways. I think everyone of these bikes is beautiful. The XB is my dream bike I wouldn't want anything else. |

Brian, If you get bored of not seeing any Buell out in central MO you could always make a trip to KC. We have a pretty good Buell following here. I think I see way more Buells here than I did while I lived in Chicago. We don't have a dealer that carries Buell that is worth a damn around here either. I won't set foot in the only dealership in KC that carries Buell and the other HD shop is pretty cool but they don't have any Buells. Most of us are starting to make the trek to Topeka for any work we need because that shop is awesome. Well worth the 45 min to an hour trip each way to get good service from a shop that is excited about what we ride. |
