I am still looking for that great deal on a buell.I have done some research.So if anyone has a buell Lightning from 96-00 let me know.I don't want to spend more than around 4000.Can not swing much more. I like the all black motor look from 99-00. But, would not pass up a good deal.I want performance and from what I can find the lightning is where it is at.If wrong I would be happy for some info. THANK YOU!

Railboy - Please see my black 97 S1 lightning posted in the classifieds of this site. It is as good an example of the S1 with all the proper upgrades as you can hope to find. It is immaculate with about 5100 miles. I am the original owner.

Just listed my 2000 M2 Cyclone in the "Bikes for Sale" area for around your price. And as far as performance goes, CARBURETOR is the way to go, I converted my X1 to carb and like it much better! Good Luck!
