Does anyone know if the collector on the 9 and 12 header are different sizes? Found a race muffler on ebay for a 12 and wondering if it will fit my 9. Thanks | ||

header pipes are different but the collectors are the same. The race mufflers for the 9 and 12 are exactly the same  | ||

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the 9 race muffler is just a bit shorter than the one for the 12 causing the outlet to just contact the pulley. I have seen some people just dent the outlet a little to have the pulley clear. | ||

shouldnt be. they should be identical size. and the 9 and 12 are the same bike just dif motors so i cant see why one would have a shorter pipe anyway. ? | ||

Deuce- I've seen the same posts on this site somewhere. Maybe they are the standard mufflers that are different, as Trojan does a lot of work on these bikes. | ||

I traded my 9 race exhaust with someone for a Latus from a 12. The Latus is exactly the same, but when we installed the race pipe, it touched the pulley. We were able to fix it. I know Trojan knows his stuff, but just thought I would give this heads up. |
