Good to see you back up and running Glitch. Good to be back, Fran. I rode most all day, except for baseball, and hangin' out at the dealership for a minute or two. It's great to be riding again! My primary is so nice, pretty, and leak free! Stealth, I heard the good news! Now for a speedy recovery. Took New21r and Smokescreen by to see the the digs, I can't wait to have my very own garage! Had a good ride with y'all, even if it was a short one. |

Sanchez I have the Pilot Road on my X and they are great. The guys at Suches could not believe how fast I rode on a sport touring tire. |

New12 or anyone... I found the oil leak today... its in the 90* fitting on the return line from the oil pump... I am going to see if tightening it will fix the issue but if it doesn't... should I just remove the pump and clean it up? I know it won't take a long time but I am curious what your thoughts are... I may have to order another pump... depending if I pulled the threads on it... any thoughts will help... FYI it started after dropping the motor to remove the headers... I must have pulled or loosened it... |

Duc I have a set of thread cleaners and if it was me I would clean the threads on the line and the pump. Then use some teflon tape on it. If you need help one evening this week let me know. |

Duc you could use a tap and die but if you get a little off it will try and make new threads. Thread cleaners just clean up the threads you already have. You can run down to the shop and I will let you use them if you want or I will help. |

That was me on my way home. Just went for a short ride. Betty and I had the Cooper out checking out Joe Brown hwy next to Murphy. The road would be a little rough on a sportbike but great fun on a motard. As you can tell in the video it is all she can do to hang on. I need to put a bullet cam on it like I have on the Buell. Here is a clip of one section. http://mountainrideradventures.com/cooper.wmv |

Well after having quite the off day today, (numerous things took place that should have triggered a ok stop). To give the skinny I had to relearn a very hard lesson in road rash today. I was on the 80 in a school lot with a not so oval jogging track. Well while bustin out laps I had a big time low side and ate the pavement. I have no broken bones just roadrash and hurt pride for crashing so hard on the 80, with no gear none the less. I will post some of the gruesome pics when I get home. I am ok with not a lot of pain, had this happen a few times so I know how to cope and care for such ugly wounds. I will be full well and ready for march badness no doubt! |

I am glad you are okay I just wish you would wear some gear when playing. At least elbow and knee pads. Plus a good helmet. |

Well I got it off and seems like the 90* fitting was loose... no problems with the threads... I will order another gasket tomorrow... hopefully it won't leak again! Thanks MR and New12 |

Duc_Htr We're in for two hats, one for Bambi and myself, I think the screen names, on the side in a small red script would look cool. |

New12r It sounds like the 80 had about enough abuse, and decided to fight back. Glad to hear you're OK. It sure was fun rippin' it up on the four wheeler and the 80. Duc_htr Hat looks good, and, what Kdan said. |

Pics are up http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=37&post=608307#POST60 8307 Oxycodone is the shiot for pain by the way. Glitch, the 80 did not fight back, I out rode it and instead of just riding off the track to save my a$$ I tried to save the line, never again. Damn Charlie, that's looks terrible! I'm glad all my falling was in the yard. I take it you're just hangin' out at the house today. If all goes my way, I should have my tail section this week. I really hope so. |

Nasty hole in your knee dude. Jeez! Looks like the rest will heal up fine. I think I'd have that knee looked at by the Doc. |

New12R....Ouch!!!! Keep em' clean Strawberry boy. Those types of wounds get infected easily. They are on joints so after you get a hard scab they are gonna want to crack back open and that is when is important not to get them infected. Heal up, we need you 100% for MB3. |
